The chain of lakes was amazing. The water is so clear.
The chain of lakes was amazing. The water is so clear. We boated all day, days in a row. Love that you can stop for lunch at Thirsty Whale and the Yacht Club-excellent hospitality at both places. The Boathouse was a great place for dinner-old school supper club vibes with a gorgeous bar and friendly service. Ski show was fun. Downtown had a nice variety of shops. Kilwins ice cream shop was excellent.

Minocqua is absolutely beautiful.
Minocqua is absolutely beautiful. There is so much history & wildlife. Any time of the year is a good place to visit. Restaurants nearby have something for everyone. Shopping in town is also better than a lot of other similar locations. Hiking, boating, fishing, snowmobile trails, shopping, eating, bowling, ect. So much to do. Absolutely love this location.

So much to do.
So much to do. Inbetween activities, going to downtown shopping had nice stores to browse around in. We've gone to the area every season and each season has different things to do. We have gone fishing, hiking, golfing, rented UTV's and snowmobiles. So much to do. Love the area.

When we arrived, the heat was turned off in the room.
When we arrived, the heat was turned off in the room. It was below 50 degrees in there. I had to keep my winter jacket on for a while while the room warmed up. The ice outside the entry doors was dangerous. We were offered a ten percent discount on our next stay, but at $130 a night the price was already too high.

Good food and good friends, beautiful city and community,...
Good food and good friends, beautiful city and community, lots to do, pretty drives thru trees and around boundless lakes, we go 1 to 2 times a year and always find more things to do. Easy to get around the island and surrounding communities, Try Monica's pizza or holiday cafe, the boathouse, North Fork or Norwood pines, you won't be disappointed.

Close to hospital and even though we don't live in Minocqua I was I knew how to get back to 51 without going business district. Hope to be able to come and visit without going to hospital or clinic and spend the day. Beautiful country, Would have come earlier but to many things to do first at home.
