Property undergoing major renovations, plywood in the windows, dumpsters under our window, tile boxes at the front desk and all around Christmas. They never disclosed that prior to booking. We could not stay there even one night.
They still have not refunded me for the booking. I had to file a dispute with the credit card company. Terrible manager!

Location and popcorn. It snowed unexpectedly and the staff shoveled a path to our car. Much appreciated due to age and health of spouse. Plus dog friendly!

Midland is a beautiful city. I've been there a couple of times before in the past but this time we went to different places and the night before we left we went to the Tridge. It was very beautiful and we got there just in time to see the lights go on.

So much to see, so much to do!
So much to see, so much to do! Midland is a quaint small town, kept so clean and with a wide variety of restaurants and shops. We came for the CWH Santa School and would have extended our trip if we had known what a wonderful place we were visiting. Plenty of parking, easy walking, fall colors, well kept historic homes. We especially loved WhichCraft for scrumptious appetizers, sandwiches and beer flights followed by a stroll through the many unique shops downtown.

Midland is absolutely beautiful!!! The staff at the hotel were super friendly. The locals....well hit or miss. I did not see many black people in the area. I hope that wasn't the reason. Several times we spoke to people in passing with no response.

We had extra excellent service! Friendly but very professional staff. Room was simple but elegant as was the whole hotel. I happened to mention that it was my sister's birthday that we were celebrating during our stay in a message and when we arrived the woman checking us in wished her happy birthday and offered us a lovely food/drink treat to be delivered to us at a time of our choosing! What an act of kindness and highly appreciated but us both. Convenient proximity to the restaurants was also a real plus.
