We didn't pick the right time to visit -- mid-January during a cold spell really kept down activity in the city. BUT the trip was well worth it for the National Civil Rights Museum and the incredible music history of the city. The Sun Studio tour is fantastic; the Edge Motor Museum is definitely worth an hour; the Museum of Rock n' Soul was very good; Graceland is overpriced but you've got to pay homage to Elvis while in Memphis!

Memphis - what a shame probably once was such a great and lively place. If you are not a fan of Elvis and planning to see Graceland I would give it a miss. However, so well worth dropping in and visiting the National Civil Rights Museum | At the Lorraine Motel, one of the best museums we have attended.

Graceland, Sun Studio, Civil Rights Museum were all fantastic to visit, Beale St was interesting, and we enjoyed doing the Big River Crossing. We had been warned about personal safety beforehand, but felt safe at all times.

The house was amazing, in a quiet residential area where the neighbours were so friendly. House was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and homely just loved it. There was a welcome basket in the kitchen when we arrived, a great little touch, also the pool table where we spent many an hour at night playing pool with a few glasses of wine, would highly recommend this property and hope to be back again in the future.

It has been on my bucket list for many years and glad I went,but dont think I would go back, its pretty run down,but loved to visit the Stax and Sun studios and had the best chicken at Gus,forget about Hattie B, this was much better.

Sun Studios is a must to visit - fantastic tour/ Gracelands was also excellent. You do need to Book your tour to avoid disappointment. The Cotton Exchange was also good and live music and bars in Beale Street. A must is to visit The Peabody Hotel for the duck parade.

Very nice hotel in downtown Memphis. Within walking distance of Beale Street, Mud Island, and Bass Pro pyramid. The street car also stops on the street around the corner and is a safer way to get back from Beale Street at night. Breakfast was excellent - one of the nicest I've seen at a hotel. Parking garage for guests, which costs extra.
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the iconic Beale Street. The staff were lovely in sharing valuable tips with us to make our stay enjoyable, and we had a fantastic time overall in Memphis. Our trip would not have been the same if we had stayed in a different hotel!
The room and hotel was lovely and an Elvis film showing in the theatre every night and complimentary hot chocolate and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches served afterwards was a really nice touch. Central to Graceland but a bit far from downtown.
Convenient location few minuted drive from downtown. Spacious rooms. The hotel is along a large road but quiet.
Appreciated the free inside parking including manned security guard at the entrance of the lot.
