Friendliness of staff and how helpful they were. On check in, we were told upfront of the renovations being done and the daytime noise that would be heard. They didn't hide that fact which was greatly appreciated. Everything was clean and housekeeping was brilliant.

We enjoyed the restaurant and the Starbucks coffee was nice.
We enjoyed the restaurant and the Starbucks coffee was nice. Hotel itself was clean, spacious and easy to navigate. Room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Shower was powerful which was welcoming after 14+ hours of travel.
Sadly hotel took money off our card for dinner even though we paid cash. They weren't too helpful before we checked out so it wasn't resolved until 7 days had passed. Really put a dampener on our overnight stay.

Melbourne is a nice place to visit, as it has a lot to offer.
From beaches, parks, and different activities for the family.
We visited Melbourne beach as well as Cocoa beach and some places in between, and we were happy to have done so.
We also took a tour to see dolphines and marine life .
Overall we had an excellent time, and I am certain that we will visit Melbourne in the near future.

We came for one night for my grandsons travel baseball game and booked through booking.com. When we arrived they did not have our reservation. Mia was amazing! She gave us two free drink tickets while she figured it out. She came out to the restaurant that is on the property to tell us that she not only got us a room but had upgraded us for the inconvenience. The property was absolutely beautiful! The bartenders and waitstaff were very attentive. We were at the beginning our two week roadtrip and we are still talking that the bed and pillows were the best in all of the hotels we stayed at! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful breach that is very quiet, many of the people on the beach are locals. Melbourne is primarily a residential community. The beaches are clean and wide, the cool breeze off the ocean is perfect on hot days.
I was able to watch a rocket launch from the beach (SpaceX) a remarkable sight. Lots of great restaurants and a market with row after row of wines, deli foods, take-out deep-dish pizza, meat ball subs and Philadelphia steak sandwiches plus plus. I didn't have one negative dining experience over the 7 days I was there, something for everybody.

The city has a small town relaxed feeling yet there's plenty of places to eat. My wife and I are planning on revisiting Mebourne and we only plan on staying at The Hyatt of Melbourne especially since it's only a 5-minute walk from the airport to the hotel and that's no exaggeration.

It meets expectations. Comfy bed, fridge, good location close to airport, decent parking. It's basic - but a decent night sleep if you want to be near the airport on first or last day of your holiday. Nothing more, nothing less.
Good choice of tv channels, better than you get in many higher priced hotels (list attached)
Having a room with a view of the ocean was amazing. The pool was great, access to the beach was great, the service was great. We absolutely loved the hotel and would return in a heartbeat.
I loved the view! I loved the way the room was set-up. The location is wonderful in Melbourne. I loved the floor to ceiling windows. I also liked the balcony set-up.
