The property was very nice and clean. The staff at check in was very friendly and helpful. First impressions a the hotel was very positive as was the rest of our stay. We did eat at the restaurant on the property and the food and service were very good. We ate outside on the meal and surroundings were very pleasing. When we visit the are again we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thankyou for a very nice stay.

The upstairs unit of the house was very clean and well appointed. The home had air conditioning as well as ceiling fans. We were comfortable at night in August just using the ceiling fans. We were able to cook in the unit. On the day that we checked in we were able to easily communicate with the host via phone and email. The neighborhood was quiet at night and it is a short drive from the museum, hospital and Case Western Reserve University district and Little Italy.

The area and staff were fine, the actual rooms were nasty.
The location and comfort of the bed was perfect. The bed was comfortable as was the bedding. The room was small and outdated and I also found a big ball of hair in my shower which made me feel like it may have not been cleaned that well. It gave me more of a motel feel and I feel it was overpriced because of the size and appearance. They did offer breakfast that was okay.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant and made a long 2 day journey to our final destination bearable. It was a great resting stop. And the breakfast they offer was well prepared and inexpensive. We plan on using this hotel again.

There was no consistent mask use by staff despite what I understood the policy to be. REception staff did not mask all of the time. Housekeeping staff did not mask at all. The cook was not masked as he made breakfast. Servers were masked.

I don’t believe the breakfast bar was in use. The first night we awoke to late. 8:45am and nothing was available. We had to leave early the next night at 5:15am for hospital admission. My husband stayed after that. I think he always went out to eat.

Mayfield is a nice, safe, eastern suburb of Cleveland. It is close to Metro-parks, malls, I-271, and many restaurants and shops. It is 10 minutes from the countryside, and 20 minutes to downtown Cleveland. It is a great location if you want to be away from heavy traffic but still close enough to museums, and downtown sights.
