Very clean. Attentive staff. I loved that they accepted both of my dogs and even put us in a “pet room”. Breakfast was actually pretty good as well. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family.

When checking in everything was very smoothly. Everything was easy to get around. Breakfast was very good as well. Everything surrounding the hotel was very easy to get to.

We only come to Mattoon to visit family, otherwise, the city has absolutely nothing to offer. The only big store in town is Walmart. The city has nothing to offer for children, you have to travel to Decatur 40 miles to a water park.

The town was very ordinary. Nothing to draw you there. We came for Arthur, IL, and had to stay in Mattoon because Arthur Motels were fully booked.

A nice town to stay in off of the interstate.
A nice town to stay in off of the interstate. Some fast foods, Cracker Barrel, a couple of different restaurants. A Walmart, Dollar General. Nothing really to do there at the time. We just stayed in Mattoon while we visited two different towns with events.

A typical midwestern town.
A typical midwestern town. People really friendly and the original Burger King is still open and booming. Lot of farmers with blue jeans and overalls in town. Great steakhouse on edge of town. Still have the brick paved side streets, Lifestyle still is slow paced. Be careful driving; some of the stoplights are on the corner, not in the middle of the intersection.

Shopping was ok and plenty of places to eat! Some in walking distance! Nice quite town. Not a lot of traffic so getting around was easy. The staff were so friendly and helpful to us. I just wish the price was lower and I could get my free night after two stays!

Good location, guess same for the all hotels of this type in US :-D I was there for business so good to have restaurants & shops close by, Hotel was confy. Helpful staff and no-fuzz free parking.
The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable and most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The GM we briefly met came off a little snarky. The room was large and beds were comfy
