My husband, myself and our two young boys were in New Orleans for a wedding and the sonesta suites was a great choice for us. The staff was very friendly, valet service was super easy and efficient, room was spacious, clean, and quiet and breakfast was yummy in the morning too.

The room was large and it contained a sitting room large enough for someone to sleep on the couch if they wanted to. there was a funny smell in the bathroom but a little spray from the dollar tree in front got rid of the smell (it was a musty smell) the bathroom was big there was plenty of room. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we spent most of the time in New Orleans site-seeing.

Not to far from NO. Great places to eat and shop! We ate at a restaurant that was right next to the mall. PO boy restaurant. I'm not a big fan of those sandwiches, but was pretty good and plenty customers were eating there. Easy to find shopping places. One place I would like to revisit was a Wine and Home Dept store. So many different items and at fair price. We mainly stayed in Marrero for Mardi Gras. I would definitely stay in Marrero again!
