The staff was super accommodating and kind, even when we arrived very late and asked to switch rooms. The facilities feel more like a budget hotel than a motel. Beds were comfortable. It's the perfect spot to rest before heading into the Yosemite national park!

Charming little town.
Charming little town. Down side is most of the shops close at 5, so if you plan on exploring Yosemite during the day, you will miss out on shopping. Most restaurants close at 9pm.
Great dive bar Hidden Saloon.

We didn't spend much time in Mariposa as we booked the house for our visit to Yosemite National park and we went there most days.
Mariposa town is very small with not a lot of shops/restaurants/bars.

Gorgeous small town about an hour outside the park.
Gorgeous small town about an hour outside the park. Really great base to have as it has it all - shops, large grocery store, gas stations, restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay in Mariposa again.

Mariposa is a nice country town with good range of shops,...
Mariposa is a nice country town with good range of shops, services and food options for its size (including a supermarket), even in our early spring visiting time. This is due to its proximity to Yosemite NP about 70km away (our reason for visiting). If using the YARTs bus service to access the park its a great base.

The lodge offers alot of extra amenities like a table and chairs, ear plugs for light sleepers (the heater/AC works really well but it is quite loud!), and extra towels and pillows. The bathroom has been recently re-done and looks great. The parking is easy and right outside your door. There are several food and shopping options within easy walking distance. Overall a very pleasant stay, especially if you are planning on visiting the nearby Yosemite National Park.
This place is really good value for money, close to Yosemite NP. They served complementary breakfast which was simple American style breakfast (waffles, cream cheese, butter, jam, bread, coffee and tea).
There is convenience store in the city nearby and gas station just across the street.
Good option to stay when doing the Yosemite trip but you don’t want the lodge. Mariposa is cute little town with many shops and restaurants cca 45 min drive from the west park gate. Big and comfortable room, clean hotel, friendly staff and safe parking zone.
Absolutely fantastic hotel! Spacious, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast! Great location for exploring Yosemite and mariposa itself it’s a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend.
