Room was very nice and clean . Management was exceptional and friendly. Quiet & relaxing .
Loved visiting Marianna! We visited a number of places but our favorite attraction was Florida Caverns State Park. The tour of the caves was fun and interesting. We also visited Russ House which houses the Jackson County Visitor Center. Our tour guide suggested several places to visit like the walking tour of Civil War Monuments throughout Marianna. Getting around the Marianna area was fairly easy. Folks were very friendly. Would like to visit again!

We found Marianna to be a wonderful small city.
We found Marianna to be a wonderful small city. We had purchased a lot recently in Jackson County and had not seen the city until this week, We really love it.
The courthouse is very pretty sitting in the center of the square. We laughed at how we passed the courthouse everywhere we went in town. It is very easy to get around town and everything we could possibly need is within a few miles and minutes.
We can't wait to be able to bring family and friends down to see the city and countryside.
As nice as the city is, the people we met and dealt with were even better, From the county courthouse workers to the DMV, everyone was so friendly and helpful it made us feel great about our purchase.
So good that we have modified a long-planned trip to come back next week to clear the lot to make way for utilities ASAP. We will also be seeking out the good restaurants we have on our list and also visit the caverns and springs.
I would just say avoid I 10 when possible. We were amazed at the beautiful ranch and farmland you miss traveling the interstate there.

Pro's: 1) All the staff was friendly & helpful.
Pro's: 1) All the staff was friendly & helpful. 2) The room was clean. 3) The coffee was good. 4) They allow pets.
Con's: 1) I could hear my neighbors next door better than I could hear my spouse in the same room with me. 2) Although they allow pets, I was told I wasn't allowed to leave our dog in the room, alone. Wherever we went, we had to take our dog. That's hard to do on vacation. He's well trained, non-aggressive, & we brought his kennel to put him in when we were gone, because I wouldn't want a maid to accidently let him out of the room. 3) The bed was hard & uncomfortable. 4) Breakfast consists of pastries & cereal. I had to provide my own breakfast because the cereals were wheat or corn based, non were rice based.

The town was OK.
The town was OK. But everything about the hotel was horrible. It was too filthy for me to complain. The bedding was just tossed in the heat on the bed. The peelings on the wall were just laying on the floor. I was too tired to mess with anything so I just fell asleep at the mess.

Staff was friendly, towels were present and clean, bed sheets and pillows clean. The door secondary lock/latch was almost off, all we could use was the deadbolt. The room overall was clean but the lighting was awful, especially the sink/mirror area. The wall outlets were dirty, old and worn. The rooms need to be updated and better lighting, and fix the door security lock. We felt overall safe with the car overnight, no worries there. If the rooms were updated/new electrical outlets and better lighting, it would fit what we expect with Days Inn. But a good value nonetheless.

Marianna is very close to the coast and made playing in Panama City and Mexico Beach easy to access for day trips without the exorbitant cost of rentals along the beach! Blue Springs was an incredible adventure, swimming in the cold water, kayaking across the entire lake, the Spanish moss hanging off the trees along the banks, the caves... a real adventure.
there are several good places to eat in Marianna, FL and I have been going there as often as possible for the past 30 years! Looking forward to our next visit!
A hot breakfast provided was good. The pet friendly room had tiled bathroom and vinyl flooring in the room which should make cleaning easy. The beds were comfortable and clean (the only reason we stayed).
