Always nice.
Always nice. But now it starting to get a little bit un kept .the sidewalks are not kept up as well as they use to be kept. Neither are the flower beds .Or the store areas it's like no one has Pride in Mackinaw city like they use to years ago. Everyone use to keep everything so Beautiful and so well kept. Let's so our Pride in our Beautiful Mackinaw city and our Amazing Mackinaw Bridge and make it Beautiful Again.

Look, it's no different than any other tourist trap. I found the "downtown" area over crowded, the restaurants kind of dirty and unkempt, and attitude of many of the establishment owners was pretty much like any other tourist trap: Buy our stuff and move on.
Mackinack Island is SO overcrowded. They dump them off, go get more, dump them off, on and on. It was truly overwhelming as to the number of people, dogs, children, etc, etc..it was not pleasant. We only lasted two hours and returned to the city.

It was nice a lot of stores and outing need a little more things to do in the evening movies shows drive inn more breakfast restaurants. The restaurant with all the boats was my favorite place I saw a sub ship out there food was high so a drop down to cheaper food walk most of the time

Didn't spend any time in the city just went to the Island but plan on going back to spend time there next. There's bunch of shops restaurant's, parasailing, all different kinds of things. And Hotels and Motel's.

Very nice city and great prices on souvenirs. Food is expensive but it’s just the same as in all tourist area . If you want to save some money just 20 minutes drive and you can get to a nice area with Walmart and also not expensive places to eat at. One more tip for travellers if you are going to visit Mackinac island and I’m sure you do just buy the tickets online and you’ll save some money and also don’t be lazy and go to Mackinac as early as possible in the morning before all others come lol and the best fudge is Joann’s fudge which you can buy in Mackinaw city as well 👍
Comfy room in very convenient location for Mackinac Island ferry, Mackinaw City and beach sunsets, friendly and helpful staff. Nice little extras with wine and snacks available, boxed breakfast was really easy. Lovely grounds to relax in and enjoy the views.

I complained and deskclerk put us in better room only 3 people in entire complex.Just be honest and advertise what you do have the blue bldg is nice rest of units are not .
Room was clean, looked newly remodeled. Kids had a blast in the water park. Free access. Location great for Island trip. The fireworks were a fantastic added surprise.
On the beach, pool was available but didn't use it, location was very close to everything we wanted to do. Ferry, food, casino, gas station and shopping
