The suite was a lot bigger than I expected. It was very clean. It is walking distance to the shops and (on a good day) the beach.
The staff was great, the room was exceptionally clean.
The staff was great, the room was exceptionally clean. We loved the view, being on the 3rd floor. Too bad the Seahawks lost! It would have been a perfect stay!! Would recommend! We also had a drink & pizza at North Beach Tavern, very good.

Had a wonderful dinner at "Drop Anchor".
Had a wonderful dinner at "Drop Anchor". It seemed popular with locals, and food and service was great.
A several mile "boardwalk" along the beach is great for walking or bike-riding.
It's a small town, and traffic is light. People seem friendly.
Very relaxed atmosphere.

We came during the kite festival.
We came during the kite festival. The first day they got rained out, the second day we got to see all the kites and enjoy the ocean. It's a beautiful clean beach. The town is fun with lots of neat shops including a free little museum. I did find it odd that on a Tuesday during a festival there was only about 3 restaurants open for dinner, the rest were closed. We ended up going to a little spot just outside of Long Beach called The Loose Caboose that was within my budget. We traveled with a family member in a wheelchair and the beach access was pretty nice. There was the Discovery trail that's paved, that goes along the beach and then a nice wooden boardwalk that was a bit more bumpy but still had some nice views.

Long Beach is a family-friendly town with attractions for every age. From the arcade to bars, and everything in between there's definitely something fun for everyone! All the shops & restaurants are full of friendly staff, and have good food & unique items! My favorite place is Dylan's Cottage Bakery. It's been a favorite for DECADES, but the way it's been cleaned up and strategically updated, keeping its original charm, but making it easy to pay, is brighter/cleaner and is so lovely. But the best part... the maple bars!

There were great places to eat and shop.
There were great places to eat and shop. Flying kites on the beach is very relaxing. We ate at Chico's Pizza. Love the then crust on their pizzas. We always eat there at least once while in town. Drop Anchor was recommended by the locals and it did not disappoint. The oyster shooters were wonderful! Had the prawns and lobster tail and it was delicious. (Not a puny lobster tail either!)

The rooms had two double beds and were so spacious that we could have easily shared with our traveling companions. The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly they more than made up for the fact that reception was unmanned from 8.00pm. The location was superb just off the beach and close to shops bars and restaurants.
The coffee machine in reception was a bonus as was the plentiful supply of cakes for breakfast.
The room was very comfortable and super clean. It is in the perfect spot to go down to the beach and close to restaurants. My favorite store was right in front of the hotel. It’s just a comfy cozy place to stay. We were able to bring our family pet. I will be going back!
Nice hotel… however being a kid and dog friendly hotel the rules need to be tightened. As we had kids playing outside our room window and dogs barking until 10:15pm… but otherwise it is a great place to stay
Almost everything went well. The weekday counter clerk and breakfast worker were excellent and very friendly and very nice. Room size, décor and general hotel cleanliness and aesthetics were excellent.
