Lincoln did not impress us and our hotel experience did not help. The whole area near the hotel seemed to be under construction so maybe it will be nice in the future. We did find a decent Mexican restaurant, but the service was not great.

We were just traveling thru the state.
We were just traveling thru the state. We didn't visit any places while here. We did have dinner at the Grub Tub. One of the specials was prime rib. It came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The prime rib was extremely tough. I ended up taking it back for my dogs to eat. The mashed potatoes were just ok and the broccoli was decent. They had a huckleberry cheesecake that was delicious. I probably would choose a different restaurant if I am in the area again.

Very favorable impression. People are so friendly. Haymarket area was a lot of fun. Leadbelly’s restaurant was outstanding. Enjoyed walking around the beautiful campus of the University. Bought a Nebraska sweatshirt at the Student Union for my grandson. Even saw a movie at the outstanding Marcus theater. Really enjoyed being there. The Museum of American Speed was also a highlight. We were there for a basketball tournament and will look forward to coming back next year.

Lincoln is a very friendly city and there is a lot to do...
Lincoln is a very friendly city and there is a lot to do within walking distance and easy to get around. If you need transportation the front desk will help you in finding or suggesting a type of transportation you'd like . And the front desk will suggest places of interest that will make your stay even better. The only draw back if you walk it is a long walk to Memorial stadium or Pinnacle Bank arena but there are ways to get there as well.

Our family of four, consisting of a 60 yr old male, 50 yr old female, 20 yr old male, and almost 17 yr old female, stayed three nights in Lincoln. We enjoyed the Museum of American Speed, the University of Nebraska State [natural history] Museum, and Prehistoric Putt. We tried to go on a Robber's Cave Tour, but the address we put in our phone directed us to Van Dorn Park, so we missed it. The courses at Prehistoric Putt were different and a lot of fun. Also, my 20 yr old son loved the punching bag game in the lobby. We played Lucky Putt at Sun Valley Lanes and Games, but got bored with it rather quickly. It was a game of speed rather than skill and then you had to wait for the scorer to be ready to scan your club. I wouldn't recommend Lucky Putt. We drove to Omaha's zoo and aquarium from Lincoln and were so tired after, that we didn't visit any other places in Omaha.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean as well. The beds were so-so and the noise level in the hallways with the other doors opening and closing was disruptive.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The room, well actually the small condo is amazing, fully equipped kitchen, seating area with tv, bedroom with the best bed ever, laundry facilities, nice bathroom.
Very nice patio next to the pool and all very well maintained. The breakfast was good.
We appreciated the free ice creams upon our arrival.
Would definitely recommend to everyone traveling in this area.
