Great little lodge. At first I was a bit anxious about the fact there is no one to welcome you but everything works great. Rooms are beautifully decorated, well equipped and very spacious. the public areas are also great and very pampering with many options of free beverages, hot and cold, snacks and cookies and all that is needed (silverware, cups, etc.). the lounge with the fire place is very cozy and inviting. Unfortunately it was freezing outside so we did not take advantage of the public sitting areas outside but these also look very inviting and facing a natural forest. It is really evident the owners have tried to think of every littler details. Like packs of conversation cards in various places, board games, books, treats in the room, and many more. Well located on the gateway to white mountains and also in Lincoln, quite close to many restaurants. In summary, a great option for staying at the Lincoln area.

I absolutely love that it is dog friendly and there are good places to walk your dog! Behind the hotel is a cute little walking path with a bridge and stream. The staff is super friendly and accommodating! This is my second time staying here and I will absolutely be back, especially since I can comfortably travel with my dog.

Lincoln is a lovely town to visit and so close to many other activities. I go annually as a volunteer during the NH Highland Games. I found myself this year being very disappointed in stock at the hardware store as well as the pharmacy. I tried to find some items I needed and found shelves to be bare in both locations. The Price Chopper seems to be a bit small. I would say that the restaurants are really a bit overpriced. In spite of those comments, I enjoyed myself and the meals that I ate while I was there.

We were in Lincoln for the Highland Games. We live the area.
We were in Lincoln for the Highland Games. We live the area. Reminds us of home. We are excited for further developments that are planned - new buildings, businesses and the gondola linking the River Walk resort to the mountain base, which will ease the pressure on lack of parking space. We loved Loon Mountain resort where we enjoyed seminars in the main hotel rooms but also the gondola ride up the mountain. Views were spectacular and the ride was smooth and quiet. Very peaceful. We ate in the Italian restaurant one night and Rhythm the next night, both within River Walk resort. We have visited the town of Lincoln previously so, yes, it was easy to get around. Plenty shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed two visits to the Seven Birches Winery. We can’t think of anything we would avoid on our next visit.

A great small town feel with lots to do and see.
A great small town feel with lots to do and see. From zip lines, to trails for hiking, General stores, and Trading Posts for browsing. Water slides and amusements for the kids and great restaurants to eat at. The Common Man Restaurant is a must. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere is laid back and casual. Their Ding Dang Dong Triple Chocolate dessert is the bomb, as is the Salted Caramel Brownie Sunday.

Cabin was clean and comfortable with a nature feeling to it. Owners very friendly and accommodating. They even allowed us to check in a couple hours early which is very rare! Cabin was centrally located within walking distance of diners and restaurants. Will definitely return.

Lincoln was an incredible small mountain town!
Lincoln was an incredible small mountain town! We travelled to the area a couple of days after Loon Mountain closed for the season, so it was very quiet in terms of tourism. Unfortunately, a lot of businesses must also take a couple of weeks off after Loon closes, as a lot of things were closed when we visited. A lot of businesses also have very strange hours; their online information says one thing, and then we would drive to the establishment and find that their hours did not match. Definitely keep this in mind - make a few phone calls before planning your trip! The scenery is incredible and everything is so quaint. There are many good food options (if they are open) and no shortage of access to nature.

We came from the Stowe area in Vermont.
We came from the Stowe area in Vermont. Lincoln is a good place to stay on the Kancamagus highway if you are coming from the West. Close to the Lost River Gorge and Flume Gorge. It's smaller than Conway on the east side of the highway, but not as crowded.

The owners are a very sweet, helpful, hard working couple and they deserve recognition for it. Its not a 5 star hotel but they do provide you with all you need, the cottages are clean and very comfortable, and most importantly, with a very efficient heating system. It's quiet, the location is beautiful and you are close to everything
Nice combination of a traditional log cabin together with modern day amenities. Very clean and nice staff. Good location and a bit different to your usual hotel stay
