There are so many hidden gems in Lincoln City. It looks like any other coastal town if you just drive through. Take time to explore the town, get off the main road and take a look a the neighborhoods on the beach.
I live within an hours drive and never tire of visiting, sometimes just daytrips and for mini vacations. The kite festivals are amazing, king tides exceptional time to stay on the coast.

We love Lincoln City.
We love Lincoln City. We come stay at least 2 times a year from Washington State and ALWAYS enjoy our stay.
Love shopping at the Lincoln City Outlet Mall and always stop and eat at Momiji’s Express (our favorite)after shopping!
There are also many shops throughout downtown to stop at while visiting Lincoln City, and don’t forget to walk on their beaches beaches, you may get lucky and find a glass ball, my husband found one this summer ☺️.

My sister and I stayed at D Sands for 4 nights.
My sister and I stayed at D Sands for 4 nights. It was way too short. Our room was on the bottom floor with just a few stairs down to the beach. We had a beautiful view of the beach and ocean from our room. The room size was great for the 2 of us . The room was clean and the kitchenette and bathroom had everything you need.
Definitely worth the money. I can't wait to go back.

Lincoln City is both a tourist destination and a working-class town, so it offers a wide range of things to do as well as support for other needs. It's a good place to base a visit to the central coast because there are a lot of interesting coastal features nearby both to the north and south.

It’s a good location on the Oregon Coast with the ocean closer to the hotels than further North in Oregon. Nice sandy beaches, lots of restaurant variety, and shopping. Every time we have stayed here we see whales and seals in the ocean. Depot Bay is just South of Lincoln City for tourist shops and Sea Hag restaurant for clam chowder.

We decided that the beach and the house stay would be our main focus and we only ate out twice, one lunch and one dinner. Both were excellent. We ordered groceries for pick up at the local Safeway and it made it so much easier to just swing by and grab what we ordered. Easy and so convenient. We are from a landlocked state and we wanted to capitalize on the beach and this place had excellent views, great beaches and enough "town" if we wanted to shop. It was close to Portland so we didn't have to spend so much time in the car to get there and the dollar value was much better than some other areas. We came for the beach and it was excellent!

The breakfast was very yummy for a hotel/inn! I thought it had a great variety! The room was very clean. Even though there was not a view of the ocean, the view of the little woods/creek was gorgeous!
Gentleman who checked us in was so pleasant and helpful. And I love a bath, this is one of the only hotels I've experienced a great bathtub when on the road!
