The staff was beyond sweet and friendly. I got all the help I needed. I checked in late and was even asked if I had gotten a chance to eat since I was travelling across country. Then I got to sleep on a very comfy bed. If I ever make that drive again I will be back.

Liberal is not a big tourist attraction.
Liberal is not a big tourist attraction. We stayed here because no motels in Hugoton, my hometown, offered pet-friendly motels. We were. on a trip home from Albuquerque for Christmas, and Liberal--actually, Hugoton--was a good stopping place. Because I grew up in this area, I preferred to stay in Hugoton, my hometown, but there were no pet-friendly motels there, so we went to Liberal. I don't know what Liberal offers to tourists.

Great aviation museum and Dorothy's house was excellent with Wizard of Oz movie memorabilia. Cortez museum had little to do with the explorer but nice local items. Helpful visitors center. Brick house BBQ is fantastic. IHOP was overpriced for what you get and waitress/kitchen screwed up my order. Old Chicago restaurant does not serve Chicago-style pizza but is decent.

I come to Liberal fairly often to do my shopping. It has a lot of opportunities that I don't have in my hometown such as Walmart! I ate at Applebee's. I came to shop for a new car but did not find what I was looking for.

It was clean, Breakfast was very good. the only thing I didn't like was the bed not comfortable and the pillows were horrible. when I laid my head on the pillow it was flat, I tried two pillows but during the nite I kept waking up to puff up the pillows. I was there for a week, not sure I will go back to that Hotel again. I will be coming back to that location in few months and I'm not sure If I will stay there again. I have business there in Liberal in the next two years. There a lot of Hotel/Motels in Liberal.
Comfortable beds and quiet rooms. This is a great place to rest on the way to Dodge City because Liberal has the superb Wizard of Oz Museum: Dorothy's House. So it's worth it just for that!
