WINNIE'S BED & BREAKFAST, hotel in Lawrenceburg

WINNIE'S BED & BREAKFAST in Lawrenceburg provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking.

What a wonderful place. It is full of peace and harmony and a special houseto escape the stresses of life. Winnie is a great host. It was such a privilege to visit her beautiful house and share in her hospitality. As well as being such a lovely person she is also a great cook. We had eggs Benedict for breakfast which was delightful. Her house is surrounded by a lovely garden and over the fence is her pride and joy.....her horses. The whole place is such an unique pastoral setting and we left in the morning with a heavy heart.

I have stayed here many times in the last few years. It is always enjoyable. Pleasant staff and rooms are adequate and as advertised. Nothing fancy but clean safe and cordial. Try the Brass Lantern for a great meal.

We came to visit the Amish.

We came to visit the Amish. Everything about our experience was wonderful. We desperately needed to get away for a few days and we look forward to returning as soon as possible. We stayed 3 nights and we drove about 1200 miles during the four days we were gone, July 1-4. We hated to leave but we had to go back to work.

One of my best friends of almost 20 years (our girls have grown up together)is Amish and I love going 2-3 times a year to visit with the family. We have stayed in almost all of the places in Lawrenceburg; but since the Best Western Plus was built I won’t stay anywhere else! It’s a nice small town with plenty of stores for your needs. Not many eating places other than fast food. Fortunately I enjoy eating with my Amish friend and her family! The best part of Lawrenceburg is Amish Country for us☺️

I enjoy visits to Lawrenceburg to visit the Amish community.

I enjoy visits to Lawrenceburg to visit the Amish community. In spite of the inclement weather, I was able to visit about 10 of the Amish homes to see the wares they had for sale. I have visited the Amish community in Holmes County,Ohio, but the one in Lawrenceburg is a lot closer to where I live and just as interesting. There are numerous fastfood restaurants in Lawrenceburg for breakfast and/or lunch , but very few choices for dinner.
