I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Queens, and overall, it was a comfortable experience. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a great atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, providing a relaxing stay.
However, my check-in experience was disappointing. I arrived around 11 AM requesting an early check-in, which I understand is subject to availability. I was told there were no rooms available, so I waited in the lobby. Surprisingly, I noticed that guests who arrived later, around 1-2 PM, were checked in before me. No one from the front desk informed me about room availability, even though they saw me waiting for hours. Only after I inquired again did they finally check me in. This lack of communication and attentiveness was frustrating.
Additionally, when booking, the rate displayed was $219, but I was charged $249 at check-in. It would have been helpful if this price difference had been explained beforehand.
Despite these inconveniences, the hotel itself is nice, and I hope the management improves their front desk service to ensure a more seamless experience for future guests.

Initial airport shuttle pickup was fine. Proximity to the airport is good.
