The staff were so lovely. I think it was the manager that checked us in and he was SO accommodating. It felt like the staff wanted our best interest and because we were in town for a wedding, they waived our resort fee even though we didn't book through the hotel block. The staff deserves a 10/10.

5-STARS!!! WHAT A FIND! Now departing from one week visit with family and friends in the area. This place made our visit so easy and enjoyable! It is a lovely, big 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, nicely stocked with bathroom and kitchen essentials, so clean that it looks brand new, in a great location, and for a great price!!! Covered secure parking. Air conditioned. And the hosts were so friendly and prompt if we had any questions, messaging through the Booking.com site. Compared to a hotel room, this is 3 times the space at one third the cost!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HILL COUNTRY HIATUS!!!

Lakeway is an older resort that needs updating. The pools were very nice. The restaurant was nice but expensive for what was offered. In general we felt this resort was overpriced for its condition. We were there for a family gathering and Lakeway worked well for this large group. I would not choose to return for just us as a couple.

Amazing natural landscapes.
Amazing natural landscapes. Pace bend is a must see, kayaking, cliff jumping, deep water soloing, great for any adventurer!
Relatively quiet and plenty of places to go. Businesses seem relatively new and it seems like a growing community.

Our daughter and family live only 4 miles from the hotel.
Our daughter and family live only 4 miles from the hotel. We chose to spend the night in a hotel rather than at our daughter's house to get an early start for a Christmas trip together. Our daughter recommended the property and she made a good recommendation. I consider the Lakeway area more of a residential area than a vacation area. Our daughter has lived there 14 years. We visit her quite often. I'm not sure we would visit Lakeway if it were not for our daughter, son in law and only grand daughter living there.

We needed a place to stay overnight near our granddaughter and this fit the bill. the room was clean and spacious. Maybe more than we needed for a single night but on short notice it was great. Breakfast was also super.

Hotel is very modern, the beds are super comfortable. We had a double Queen room and I slept solidly. No outside noise, no disturbances in the hallway, room was prefect temp that we could adjust if needed. No bath but the shower was spacious and good water pressure. Staff were wonderful on check in.
