Wonderful new-ish hotel right on the lake at Klamath Falls! Definitely recommend getting a lakeside room, as the view is amazing with the lake and all the waterfowl. Hot breakfast was standard to other hotel hot breakfasts (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy), and they had standard continental breakfast items as well (instant oatmeal bowls, bananas, English Muffins, cereal). They also had Oat Milk to use for your cereal and coffee!
Room was large and well appointed, with a fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. They have a little store at the front desk with soda pop, chips, cookies, dessert, beer, etc.
We loved taking a walk on the trail that went from the Veterans Park on one side to a quarter of the way around the lake on the other side after breakfast.
Located 2 miles from Klamath Fall town centre, this hotel features a 24-hour indoor pool and hot tub. It offers a fitness centre on site. All rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi.

Don't go on a Monday or Tuesday if you want to go to any museums. they are all closed. Also check the restaurant to ensure they are actually open. It's a nice enough town, but not really a "destination". It's more of a stopover for visiting Crater Lake, or heading to someplace else. The area is quite beautiful though.

I'm sure there was much to do in K-Falls, but I was on my way to a wedding and needed to get to Eugene. I did not stop on the way back to rest, so I didn't get to see what K-Falls could offer.
You need to stop at Chilitos Mexican Grill off S 6th Street right next to the Majestic Inn and Suites. Fresh food, fresh salsa, and great margaritas!
Getting around is easy. There is construction on some streets, but that should not hinder your stay.

Crater Lake Zipline was our primary reason for visiting the area. One day, we did go into Klamath Falls downtown area. If was actually a really cute. There are multiple outdoor pianos painted very well. We had the best tacos my son has ever had (which is saying something because that's pretty much all he eats). The coffee shop was delicious. We got a recommendation for the Favell Museum, and it turned out to be my favorite part of the trip (of course I always love looking at art).

The desk clerk was very nice.
The desk clerk was very nice. The bed and toilet and sink were nice. The overall cleanliness wasn't very good. It needs major updating on furnishings ,flooring and chairs. The smoke detector was missing and wires were hanging from it. Not sure how safe that was.The window was dirty the mirror wasn't very clean as well. The bed was new so it was comfy. But the rest of room was just not in good shape.

I love the older style, more traditional, smaller hotels. They are usually family run and the cleanliness and service are fantastic. We loved Golden West. It's not fancy, but the owners do lots of little things to make it stand out. Great in-room coffee, fresh flowers, and helpful owners on site. We loved it.
The room was clean, comfortable, yet standard for this tier hotel - no frills. I liked the bed and how well the wall heater worked.
The front desk agent, Dewayne was very helpful and professional and corrected an issue with my room key. He offered dinner options in the area and was nice to talk with.
