We were there for geology, and the area delivered! Ellensburg downtown is great for food and is a short and scenic drive away along Vantage highway, a route we discovered from the host’s informational packet (don’t take I-90!). We want to come back to visit some of the other sites recommended by the host (Yakima canyon, petrified forest, and the wind farm info center).
