Visited some distilleries in the area and the casino, those were very good experiences. At at the Sonic in Kinder, food and service were great. Also at at The Terrace restaurant in the Coushatta Casino, very good food and reasonably priced.

Limited restaurant choices, but you HAVE to try Roys Catfish. FABULOUS!
WARNING!!! On hwy 165, the main road through Kinder, and the road that the casino is on, has a speed trap. The bridge coming out of town toward the casino . . . when you cross the bridge headed to the casino, it feels like the speed should be highway speeds, but it is still 40 MPH. Car after car was ticketed in the same spot.
The casino is OK. The employees were really nice. I don't recommend eating in the casino restaurants.
Roulette tables are a $15 minium, unless you go to the video roulette station. It's a real wheel, with a person running it, and a camera on the wheel. $3 Minimum bets.

The hotel did not have breakfast like it was advertised when making reservations. And when I ask them that I had my AARP he said they didn’t take those cards. That was a false statement when I made the reservation cause they were supposed to give me a discount with my AARP.

Great food places around and the casino is right next door!
Didn't know that the shuttle wouldn't be working, but didn't stop us from going out (smile).

The Coushatta Casino is great but we had no place to stay because the motel room we reserved at the Days Inn was not available so our stay at the Casino was short. We drove 3 hours to get there and had to drive back in early morning hours.
