The bedroom looked « old” and although small, was adequate. There was a large dresser and a desk with chair. The « double » bed was comfortable but on the small side. The bathroom facilities were adequate and clean. The closet had plenty of space and wooden hangars. The heater worked very well.

Everything! The room was amazing, the staff were super friendly and helpful and it was superb value for money. The location was right in the middle so everything was just a few yards away
Featuring a restaurant and indoor swimming pool, this Wallace, Idaho resort is within 10 miles of skiing opportunities Lookout Pass and Silver Mountain Ski Resort.
Sam's restaurant is great, McDonalds is close. The Mining Museum is really an informative stop, and the Silver Resort Ski Lift is a surprising ride. And Wallace is real close with the drive up along the St Joe River. A camp ground offers a tour through a mine.

This place was OK for a overnight stay if you are traveling.
This place was OK for a overnight stay if you are traveling. It is way overpriced and no breakfast for travelers. Staff was OK, not really inviting as you arrived and just looked at you when you left.

2 beds in room. 1 cover was in shreds and the other bed looked like a sunken grave or a sway backed horse. Gross under beds and no filters in the air conditioner. Overall room looked clean but sheets and towels stained. I wouldn't stay at this motel again. Listing says "highly rented", not because it was good or worth the price, must be because nothing much else there.

There are not a lot of restaurant options in Kellogg, but wow, it sure beats Wallace! Consider shopping at the local stores and using the hotel microwave! The ski resort is a big attraction as is access to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.

The lady in the office at the motel was nice.
The lady in the office at the motel was nice. But driving around town, not knowing our way around, I stopped at a corner not realizing it wasn't a stop sign the person behind me later on his horn and flipped me the middle finger. Then we were waiting to park and a local pulled into the spot we were waiting for. Rude! Won't go back there again.

The Phoenix hasn’t yet risen from the ashes in Kellogg.
The Phoenix hasn’t yet risen from the ashes in Kellogg. The McKinley name on street and a defunct hotel had me googling President McKinley for an association. Kellogg has a small historic district that’s worth a look.
Great location, the room had a nice layout with an efficient kitchen (with dishwasher, cookware, and dishes) and dining area plus sleeping area and a balcony. Located adjacent to the gondola, which was really fun. Location was easy to find. Highly recommend the Kellogg Museum, make sure to talk with the volunteer docents. The guy we met was super interesting and we learned a lot about the area. Also, highly recommend the Radio Brewing Co on Main Street and their PB&J burger, which was outstanding (yes it sounds weird but was DELICIOUS).
Nice complex overall with a lot of activity, the apartment was large, clean, and well-equipped if but a tad banged-up from use. Would be very good for a family stay of several nights or more (we were only there for about 14 hours). Owner was very quick and pleasantly responsive with emails and texts to give us the info needed for checking in, getting the key, and accessing the room - as this is a privately-owned apartment unit that is not managed by a hotel front desk.
Easy access from highway. Dark curtains on room helped with sleeping. Comfortable beds. Provided a list of nearby restaurants that helped us find breakfast. Just stopped to sleep on road trip, so no other amenities used or explored.
The room was very clean, surprisingly better than what I can get from a $200 a night brand name hotel room. Took me 90sec to walk from the locker to the gondola!! Amazing location!
