The room didn’t have carpet. They had vinyl planks, which makes the room feel cleaner. The breakfast was good and they had an amazing coffee machine. Generally motel coffee is bad. But this was really good! The chair in the room was comfy. My husband wanted to take it home.
Econo Lodge hotel in Kearney is located near the James Farm, home of Frank and Jesse James. Smithville Lake is nice for water sports, as is Worlds of Fun amusement park.

We travel to Kearny often, and this is our favorite place to stay! The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the beds are always super comfy. The location is great for the places we need to go when in town.

Nice area. Plenty of fast food restaurants and gas stations. Not a lot of sit down restaurants but we did have dinner at a very good Mexican restaurant called La Fuente. We were road tripping back to Wisconsin from Texas so we only spent one night here.

Desk staff was nice and check-in efficient. Very clean. Good location. Strong water pressure and AC. Quiet (I had a room on the back side of the hotel - not in front near the truck stop).
