Fantastic location overlooking the beach and bike path, access to pool and other facilities, close to Coconut Marketplace, Imua coffee, shops and restaurants, yoga on the beach. The hosts were great to deal with, very clear instructions and responded to questions very promptly. Attention to detail and extras provided to make the stay comfortable. Beautiful! The grounds are well maintained and kept up daily. We went to the pool every day, at different times each day. While we were there it never felt like the pool area was too small. Loved being a very short walk to an easy access to a sandy beach. We used the walking path every day to go for our morning swim at Lydgate beach. We also liked snorkeling there, I believe we counted 15 different types of fish swimming in there. It was so fun looking for them in the calmer area there. Great place to swim for the entire family! We fell in Love with this place! This location is only 15 minutes away from Costco.

We have been to Kauai many, many times.
We have been to Kauai many, many times. The first night we stay in a hotel near Kapaa, and then we rent a house on the north shore in Hanaei near/on the water. Minimum of two weeks. 3 is preferable. We mostly visit the beaches and don't come into Kapaa except for the first day.

Kapaa has a lot of great places to eat and there is some good shopping areas. There is a path that follows along the beach which is great for renting a bike and going for a ride.
The Wailua river runs to the ocean at Kapaa. This is a great place to rent a kayak and enjoy the calm waters of the river.
The Coconut Marketplace in Kapaa, has some great shopping and some great places to eat. For budget friendly meals, stop in the Country Marketplace deli for some delicious Loco Moco or a refreshing Poke Bowl.
For a fantastic burger and cold draft beer, try out BV's Bourbon & Ale House.
If outstanding smoked BBQ is your thing, then Chicken in a Barrell is your place. Order the ribs, kalua pork or brisket and you can't go wrong. They also have a self serve beer tap with a great selection to wet your whistle.
Kapaa is centrally located on the east coast, making it a great kicking off point to either the north or south side of the island. This was the second time we stayed in Kapaa and will probably stay there again.

Kapaa was wonderful.
Kapaa was wonderful. Everything you need from groceries to the ABC store is right across the street from the Waipouli Beach resort. Drive down a little further and there are a bunch of small shops and great local eateries. We were amazed at how convenient this was to our stay. I definitely know where I’m staying when I go back

Beach was right there next to hotel but it's dangerous to swim so went to the pool the rooms don't match the pictures so I were stuck on first floor with a lot of pounding from the second floor

It’s in a beautiful beach front location. Plenty of shops and food options very close by. Rooms were nice, bathroom good size. Lanai was a good size. Lovely grassed area leading to beach to enjoy the view. Free sunrise yoga and bike hire (although we didn’t take advantage of this on our trip). We were able to see whales in the distance from our lanai. Hotel provides water bottles on arrival that can be refilled with filtered water in the lobby. Plenty of free parking onsite. Free grab and go breakfast was handy.
It is a cute little hotel at excellent location in a pitoresque town Kaapa, situated at the beach front, near to some excellent beaches. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. On one occasion they offered me a ride when taxi did not show up. Surrounding is excellent for exploring on foot, by bile or by car. The room was comfortable.
Livin by the beach!!! one of the best properties I have stayed in, felt like home and we loved how it was apartment-hotel style. having our own washer and dryer and having a kitchen where we can make home-cooked meals was just so great. Having our own quiet beach was such an amazing experience. Will definitely be back
