Staying at The Mauian Hotel felt more like coming home than staying at a resort. Yes, the rooms may be a bit outdated, but they are impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made all the difference. The housekeeping staff, especially Aunty Martha, was simply amazing. Our towels were changed daily, and our room was always restocked with shampoo, soap, and conditioner. They even switched out our beach towels promptly! Despite their demanding work, they were always smiling, and their warmth truly shone through.
Don, the night security during the weekdays, greeted us with such a genuine welcome. He made sure we were comfortable, offering plenty of friendly suggestions. On weekends, Uncle Eddie was just as wonderful. He helped us with laundry change, turned on the grill for us, and was always cheerful and ready to lend a hand.
The warmth of the staff is what will bring me back here. They made the experience feel personal and truly special, like being part of a family. The hotel itself is peaceful and quiet—a true vacation haven. I can’t wait to return!

Room great, a lot to do in property, staff were super friendly. There are great bbq stations in the property and we grilled our own dinner one evening which was very fun. The villa’s kitchen was fully equipped.

The town happens to be located on the serene side of Maui. Waves 2-4 foot. Beginner surfing. Extremely clear waters to snorkel. Shops and food abound, golf and luxury nearby. For the vacation goer who likes people.
Close to beach, Duke resturant was superb, nice vibe. Staff was very friendly. The location we were originally booked at had no air conditioning and my wife has some respiratory issues, KMB moved us from a previous location and the new location really improved my wife’s condition!!!
We did see a number of under age children in the hot tub at night, sometimes w/o supervision. We did notify security and they promptly arrive and notified the parents- it was handled very professionally-well done!
Location was amazing. Area caters well to families and makes for a very easy, low stress vacation environment. The unit itself was superbly furnished, spacious and well equipped. The pool facilities were excellent, especially the water slide which my daughter loved. Getting down to the beach was really easy and being able to walk along the boardwalk in the evenings and stop in at some of the other resort bars made for excellent sundowner fun!
The communication on how to checkin and checkout was excellent and it was super easy. The location is just across the street from the beach, so it is very convenient. This condo is very pretty and the closet has lots of beach stuff that can be used including beach chairs. Snorkel gear and boogie board.
