Peaceful, beautifully decorated in a rustic style combined with modern amenities such as a spacious pool and a spa, and friendly staff. The room was large and we loved that our unit had a balcony overlooking the little pond. Loved our stay!

Like the small town atmosphere. Not overcrowded

lake which added to our experience. Beautiful vistas
with raging waterfalls and surrounding beauty.

Beautiful Nature/Scenery as well as Accommodations at Double Eagle Resort were even better than the great expectations previously had prior to trip.
Other exciting areas (Mono Lake/Bodie Historical Town) were a near drive and also very enjoyable.
Would return in the future for another relaxing and comfortable vacation, however, would choose to stay longer than I did to be able to have even more relaxation and fun.

The general store stocked most of the things we required.
The general store stocked most of the things we required. The other shops closed or opened at unpredicted times.
Lovely area with beautiful views and roads. I recommend visits to this area not earlier than late May.

This is one of my favorite vacation spots.
This is one of my favorite vacation spots. Very off the grid. Surrounded by beauty and nature.. A shot ride to Mammoth. In winter June Lake Ski is less crowded and great for family ski & snowboard season no matter your level. Parker Lake is a nice hike and not too difficult.
Not a lot of selection at the one small town market so keep that in mind during preparation.

June Lake is a little gem just north or Mammoth Lakes and a little South of Lee Vining. I absolutely love the small town atmosphere and the untouched beauty of the lakes that make up June Lake tourism. June mountain skiing was open for business and paddle sports have easy access to the lakes. There are a ton of back country and mt bike as well as rd bike options. Hiking is always a welcome activity here. If you want to get away from all of your troubles and woes, find June Lake and stay for a while.

I visited June Lake in the summer with the Covid pandemic so not ordinary times. I loved the town. I stayed right in the center and so I could
walk all around. I walked down to the general store and took groceries back to my room since most of the eateries and bars were closed.
I love Mammoth Lakes too but totally different vibe at June Lake-laid back, more easy going, funky, it has charm in it's small town feel.
And Carson Peak towers over the town-beautiful

A fantastic inn, the staff were super friendly and it was in a gorgeous setting overlooking June Lake. The town had plenty of places to eat or drink but our room also had facilities to make food. There was a jacuzzi and patio area which we really enjoyed. We also got free root beers and icecream in the evening which we ate beside the lovely fire. On other nights it was advertised there are free movie nights which really added to the family feel of the hotel. Free parking right outside.
Loved the location. Deer grazed in the backyard. Quaint town, breathtaking lakes and mountains. Gull lake is less than a 5 min. walk away. 2 bedroom cottage was perfect for our group of 3 and happy it was pet friendly.
