This is a pretty unique and wonderful experience of staying in an airstream in the desert. The airstreams are pretty well set up and have hot water, comfortable beds and a TV.
Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool, this Joshua Tree motel is 3 blocks from the Joshua Tree National Park Visitors Center, and 10 minutes’ drive to the entrance of the park.

We had a lovely time at Casa Luisa. The house is beautiful and very well located, 2 minutes drive to the Joshua Tree park entrance. Good amenities with pool and hot tub and plenty space in the house and outside.
Joel the owner was very pleasant and helpful, he also provided us with recommendation of places where to eat and things to do.

The high desert was a unique experience, with stunning landscape and fascinating flora and fauna. It's easy to access the national park - the roads are very well-surfaced and not at all what you might expect from a desert road. Good parking and toilet facilities too at each trailhead. Plenty of well-marked trails for long or short walks. We visited in early November, which is an ideal climate for walking (although go prepared for the wind chill if the weather turns).

Joshua Tree offers a variety of experiences for those who love the desert, art and idiosyncratic culture. JTNP is the stellar draw, even if you don't rock climb -- the Joshua Tree fields and boulders at sunrise and sunset are awe-inspiring. Go during the week if you can. Sidetrips to Noah Purifoy Art Foundation, Pioneertown, Integratron, and Giant Rock add local color and culture. Be sure to book early for sound baths at Integratron and check the music event schedule at Pappy & Harriet's. Lunch at La Copine was excellent, as was dinner at the 29 Palms Inn.

Location was great.
Location was great. Unpaved road to get to lodge was not great.
We ate at Joshua Tree Saloon and it was very good, grilled fish tacos and ribs. Live entertainment on a Wednesday night was a great surprise and very enjoyable.

Like all National Parks it is wonderful.
Like all National Parks it is wonderful. So much scenery and natural history. It was a heatwave during our visit which made even short trails almost impossible to do. We hope to come back at a cooler time. Thoroughly recommended for a visit.

This review is for Joshua Tree, CA, not Joshua Tree National Park. I highly recommend both and Joshua Tree is the closest you'll be able to stay to the main entrance.
Joshua Tree is close to large grocery stores including a Walmart Super Center and an Aldi's.
We ate at the Crossroads Cafe, which was very good.
As for Joshua Tree National Park, it is incredible! We loved our time there.

It was very close to Joshua Tree and walking distance to the small town of Joshua Tree. The Motor Inn looked so cute in the pictures on line. But that is not what we got. Looks like the grounds have note be maintained at all. Weeds, a dead weedeater, broom just laying on the ground. I would not stay again nor would I recommend.

We had a great stay! Beautiful accommodation, spa to relax in at sunset and evenings by the fireplace! Coming from the hustle and bustle of NYC, our stay at Joshua Tree was so peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. Thank you Hilari, for all your efforts to make us feel at home. And thank you for the extra logs and the new propane tank, it was amazing to spend evenings by the fire. We hope to come back soon!
We loved it: clean, comfy beds, pantry full of goods, terrace, hot tub and cowboy pool to cool off. Joshua Tree town is 6min drive away, West Entrance to the Nationalpark around 20min.
We had such a relaxing stay, thank you.
