Perfectly located on the stunning beach at Jekyll. The strength of this H.I. is its fantastic staff, we also loved the complimentary bikes for exploring this stunning island. Our room was perfectly comfortable and clean - if a little 'tired'

Staff were amazing. Really couldnt do enough for us and they were so, so friendly. It's also a brilliant location - it's a small island so nothing is too far, but it's centrally based for good restaurants and to take in driftwood beach. The hotel was very clean, although the rooms are at the stage where they could do with a makeover, which I believe is planned.

Jekyll Island was lovely. We enjoyed the quiet.

Jekyll Island was lovely. We enjoyed the quiet. It is small and easy to drive around and not get lost. We enjoyed a trolly ride through the Historic District. Christmas lights came on the night before Thanksgiving and it was really pretty. We enjoyed 3 restaurants: Tortuga Jacks, The Wee Pub and Larry's Giant Subs. Two to 3 days is enough time to spend there if you don't want to ride bicycles or hike trails. I would recommend saying in the town area where you could park and walk. It was hard finding parking spaces at times.

Good place to visit, I would go again.

Good place to visit, I would go again. Only issue I had was the fee to get on the island. I would make the pass, good for a few days instead of one. Also, the toll gate had a back up generator to serve the toll gate. When the island had no power, and you had to leave to get food. You were charged to get back on the island, even though the whole island didn't have power. Fee should have been waived, especially since people were not running to get to the island or beach after a hurricane.

We have been visiting Jekyll for several yearsw and always look forward to our stay. Lots to do: the golf is great, 3 courses; plenty of restaurants that are all good (the seafood is fresh and well prepared; many things to do, but if you want more it's a short trip to Brunswick and/or St. Simon's Island for even more activities!

The Beachview Club Hotel is more like a motel.

The Beachview Club Hotel is more like a motel. The room I stayed in smelled like a wet basement. There are no elevators should you not be on the first floor. The outside view of the beach was pleasant.

Not your typical tourist type setting. It’s a park.

Not your typical tourist type setting. It’s a park. It’s clean well cared for and protected by its residents. It’s serene and peaceful. We went in August, still very busy, but not like most places. Family friendly take snacks and drinks mainland is 10 miles to grocery store. $10 a day park fee if going in and out

We rode the bikes for approx 3 to 4 hours all over the island for each of four days. The views are spectacular! The bike path is amazing and circles the entire island. We started at the south end of the island at St Andrew's beach and rode on the beach sand all the way past drfift wood beach to the fishing pier at the north end, at low tide of course. We tried the same ride a previous day during high tide and it was not possible. The island is beautiful but the ocean is brown with sediment. I did enjoy it briefly but my GF was not a fan and she did not enter the surf. The island seems to be more for the older crowd and young families.

The hotel is lovely. The pool area is very tasteful and looks nice be a use all the security fencing is covered with greenery. There are two outdoor fire pits light at night. Good quality loungers by the pool and chairs in the gardens overlooking the sea. The sea is a short walk from the gardens. The room was nicely serviced when we were out. The receptionists were most helpful and friendly. We hired two bikes from the hotel, efficient and easy. Free sodas and water in the fridge. Nice little touches .

The staff at the Westin were the absolute best! Always eager to help and went above and beyond what was asked! I can’t wait to go back! The food was excellent. We left a wedding reception to go back and eat the braised short ribs at the hotel! Delicious! Wonderful views of the ocean while in the room and while dining!
