The bed was comfortable and the tavern in the adjacent building was excellent. The breakfast was very good and the cook accommodated my request for the breakfast sandwich to be to go.

Beautiful grounds, 3 pools and 2 hot tubs, plus the indoor spa areas for men/women.
Location was close to town (driving distance) but also tucked away in the woods. We were just across the street from the Stowe recreational path that goes into town.
The concierge gave us a hiking trail map and suggestions.

This may be an older hotel but don't let that detract you. It is very clean and well kept. My room was a nice size and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really loved sitting outside by the water. It was so peaceful.
I did not try the breakfast because I am not a breakfast person and it was down a flight of stairs, and I don't do stairs very well, but I'm told it's really good. I have a feeling if I had asked for something, they would have accommodated me.
They have hot tubs and other extra amenities.
The location was great and close to everything. It was too early skiing but the slopes for Mn.t Mitchel are conveniently down the road.
If ever in the area, I will come back!

Very comfortable room with excellent linens and pillows. The location was excellent—close to town and restaurants.

The value for the price paid was exceptional! The room was gorgeous - and we were delighted with the big jacuzzi - sure wasn’t expecting that! The bed and pillows were EXTREMELY comfortable! We have bragged this place up and recommended it to our family for Fall Foliage! We definitely will be back!
The location was perfect, very close to the bike trail, several good restaurants and a laundromat. The staff allowed us to store the bikes inside the hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The hot tub worked well and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet, we had a nice view of the terrace. We enjoyed the common area with board games and free coffee and tea. Overall it was a great value for money.
The gentleman who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful! The hotel was very clean! And the shower was nice and hot. Bed was really comfortable, and had a great night's sleep! Breakfast was also lovely! The pancakes were amazing!!!
