Staying at that hotel was not worth my money nothing was met to my needs I actually wanted my money back room was half clean had to do it myself no microwave in the room but wen asked do they have one in the hotel I was told no but the other race asked they walked them to the microwave

This Red Roof Inn was to expansive for what they offere when I made the Reservation with booking . Com
I was not aware that the RRI offered 3 different Rooms and prices we paid already 550,00 dollars for 3 Days
We had no Coffemaker no Iron
No Pool and no Breakfast ,
Also the room we where in needs a new Mattress
I was not happy with the facility a and for that price
Never again we where always happy with other RRI facility’s
But this was not what others offer in other city’s

Independence is a nice safe area with convenient access to the interstate and it is not far to Downtown Cleveland. Nice restaurants are in the area and there is a wide choice of accommodations. It does seem as though businesses and restaurants close rather early even on the weekends. Try out the Oak Barrell restaurant. It is hard to find but it is worth it.

Hotel was very Grand looking, but not well attended, possibly because of the dates I was there. Was surprised to find the pool not open, since it was one of the reasons this hotel was selected. I teied to check out a day earlier than booked for, but it seems my booking was nonrefundable, so I stayed.

I can't tell you much about what was good.
I can't tell you much about what was good. But the list of things that was not was wayyyyy to long. Doors didn't work. No ice machine in the whole hotel. We tried all 5 floors. No pool. Flooded patio outside. AC wasn't working in one room. Floors were dirty. No toilet paper in one room. Blankets were thin as paper. No gym access. Toilet was not bolted to the floor. Beds not attached to the wall. Headboard close to causing serious injury because it was also not attached to the wall. There were so many different smells in each hall and room of that place it was concerning. Rooms weren't cleaned properly. I've never been more disappointed in a hotel stay in my life.

Place looked nice but when we found bed bugs called the front desk was given the run around then showed them the dead carcuss of a bug on one bed and the smashed one on the sheet but was accused of bringing the bugs there. We were moved to another room at our request but really at that point I just wanted to make sure I didn't bring any bugs home.

It was in a nice neighborhood with many eatery's around to choose from . On top of a hill you can see things. It is Quite. Staff was nice. Drug stores close. And even grocery shopping close. Many people work in that area.

We liked the room, most of the breakfast, when we got it, and the location to the function we needed to attend and to facilities, including restaurants, nearby, and the room was clean, and the halls and lobby were very spacious, nicely modern, as were the elevators. The other guests at the hotel were also pleasant to be amongst. Parking was also no problem, but as we liked.
