Gem of a hotel. I am a former resident of the area and have worked for major hotel chains as well as stayed at many (sometimes for many months at a time). I am fully aware of other hotels in the area and their value. This hotel is great for the repeat buisness traveler as well as anyone new visiting the area. Great value for the cost.I come to the area once a month and not wanting to impose myself on others, I now found a clean, safe and comfortable place to stay.

Nature in the area is beautiful, with great hikes and activities, like a u-peak farm and the walking bridge. There is a good supermarket and drug stores very close (by car), so we had everything we needed. The city looked very pretty although we didn't stop to enjoy it because of self-distancing. If you don't have something there are several other cities to visit.

The receptionist was very kind and accommodating despite being busy with power outages around and near the area she was positive and attended to each individual with the same courtesy as best she could with such a demand for rooms upon check in then upon check out the gentleman was kind and helpful making breakfast and check out quick and easy
Clean, comfortable apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Great location: quiet neighborhood 5-10 minutes drive to New Paltz. Beautiful big backyard. Easy check-in/check out. It's a nice place to stay at, if you want to hike in Minnewaska.
