We loved the location, easy access to freeway, shopping and restaurants. We were in town for 3 days so this worked perfectly for us and because we had a king suite the room for relaxing and and sleeping were divided. This made it more comfortable to have family visit us at the hotel instead of a public place.
The breakfast that was provided left much to be desired but if you were in a hurry it got you out the door.
Staff was friendly and courteous and quickly responded to any requests we made.

Very windy, spread out and indistinct. I drove a couple miles to a Castanedas drive through for dinner and the town is pretty blah. There is a great brewery, Oak Hills, off HWY 395 that was open and festive. Otherwise, I spent most of my time in Wrightwood.

I've stayed in Hesperia many times in the past, as there's been various business ventures I've conducted there. I've learned to NEVER pick a cheap hotel there, it's the kind of place where people LIVE in the cheaper hotels. I was delighted that since the last time I visited (2 or 3 years ago), Hesperia had continued to improve. We saw very nice businesses and restaurants. We ate at BJ's Brewery but later visited the Whiskey Barrel and wished that we had gone there first (vegan food aplenty, while BJ's was strangely scarce). My associate commented on the expected desert dwellers that usually proliferate the streets common to desert communities like this, but we saw essentially NONE. My impression of Hesperia is a very good one, I've had friends that live there and I know where the run-down parts of town are, but what we saw on this trip was very good!
