The staff was lovely, the room was spacious and clean.
Located in West Hazleton, 31 miles from Jack Frost Mountain, Comfort Inn has accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant.
Convenient and safe. Room was clean but highly deodorized to the point we had to leave the door and window open for a couple hours and it was still strong. The bed was VERY firm and pillows were like couch cushions, we couldn't use them. I had to ask the gentleman at the front desk multiple times for a cup for tea, he kept saying 'no coffee till morning. He was not very friendly. We won't return mainly due to the strong perfume smell.

We stayed in Hazleton only because everything in Jim Thorpe...
We stayed in Hazleton only because everything in Jim Thorpe was booked. We were not impressed with the little we saw in Hazleton. Jim Thorpe, on the other hand, is gorgeous, but apparently you have to book way in advance if you want to stay there. Lehigh Gorge State Park and Lehigh River are beautiful for hiking and biking.

We were charged more than we booked for.
We were charged more than we booked for. We were not told that they served breakfast. Only found out when they asked us to rate breakfast. Most certainly will stay somewhere else unless the difference in the room charges are refunded.

People working the front desk should be mindful of guests...
People working the front desk should be mindful of guests having rooms on the 1st floor and how noise from the lobby can be heard down the hallways and in the rooms close to the lobby!! When i checked out in the morning after a bad nights sleep because of the loud people in the lobby i reduced amount on the nightly rate would have been appreciated and made me want to stay at this location again!!!

This was our third choice for location in the Bloomsburg...
This was our third choice for location in the Bloomsburg Lewisburg Danville area which we went with due to the others were sold out for this weekend (guessing so many colleges in this area and graduations this late May weekend) Near I80 so good stop off point.
terrible, dirty, cockroaches everywhere, dirty sheets, cobwebs on the walls, there was no hot water, the pipes were clogged, the toilet dirty ... in short, the worst hotel in the United States I could be in iodine.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Hazleton
We have stayed at this hotel multiple times since it is our halfway point to where we usually travel. We will always stay at this hotel. The staff is super friendly and they even have remembered us after a couple stays. The location is just off the highway - but super quiet. Over all the stays (4+/-) our rooms have always been clean. This past stay our room smelled so clean and fresh just upon walking in the door. The hotel is close to a restaurant - Damon's that we usually go to. Definitely recommend this hotel!
We liked being able to bring our dog! In addition, having a small kitchen area was nice! The hotel was quiet and close to food options. If you needed anything, the hotel had it in house - food, drink, etc.
I love everything about the Red roof inn and suites in Hazleton PA! My home away from home! I also love the the staff so much ! They are my family! Love u guys! Pji
