I had a very unfortunate experience with a hotel recently. After relocating from Southern California to Hayward, I booked a room for four nights, scheduled to end on a Friday. I decided to extend my stay for an additional eight nights, planning to depart the following Saturday. On Thursday evening, I visited the front desk to inform them of my extended reservation and to inquire if any actions were needed. We agreed that I would change rooms the next day after finishing work on Friday.
However, on Friday morning, I unexpectedly received a call from the General Manager of the hotel, asking me to vacate my room by noon. I explained that I couldn't comply because I was away from the hotel and involved in urgent startup work. I also mentioned the agreement I had made with the front desk the previous night regarding the extension. Despite this, the manager insisted that I clear the room immediately, threatening to cancel my reservation and remove my belongings if I did not comply.

I loved that the pool was open, the kids loved it too. Personally I wish the hot tub worked, but undergoing renovations throughout the entire property, there were alot of scattered unfinished areas that seemed odd as during our stay we never saw workers actually working these areas. And having to walk through only the front doors due to no other doors opened from the outside with room key. And my room seemed to had prior water damage as I saw staining and prior repair had been made. I also found it odd that the elevators had carpet that looked and smelled like the early 90s

Our "key" to our room was faulty.
Our "key" to our room was faulty. We needed to get help to get into our room at 10PM. The building was in the process of being remodeled. The pool and spa were unavailable. The carpets were dirty. The "bag breakfast" was processed junk food. We were given a pepperonni Hop Pocket for breakfast! :(

We stayed for less than an hour & that was too long. There was no towels, no tp, snot on the walls, the room smelt like smoke, cigarette burns in the bed. The tv in the in the 1st room didn't work so they moved us 2 doors down. It was disgusting. We realized every room had glaring issues which could not be over looked & we couldn't stick it out for the night that we had originally reserved & wanted a refund for leaving which the staff refused.

Really bad hotel they should update their Pictures. The owner of the hotel is very rude and so are his employees. Very Dirty place and dirty rooms. The card keys they Give you do not work. You have to keep going downstairs to get a different card it’s just ridiculous.
The room very clean, not noisy the hotel, staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The location is very convenient, target, Starbucks, restaurants are walking distance.
