Kelly’s rooms are in a cute and private house. There is access to a kitchen and the outdoor seating was great for evening wine sipping and book reading. We left before breakfast for a tour the first morning, but Kelly cheerfully accommodated my gluten intolerance and made us fantastic egg bowls with a cauliflower tortilla the second morning. The location was close to a highway, with a water view over some gorgeous lava cliffs about 10 min away and a fruit stand about 5 min away

I loved the kindness and availability of the owners to answer our doubts and questions. They are very friendly people and do not interrupt your stay with their presence, even living near the house. The place was immaculate and organized. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature was perfect. The bathroom is clean and has hot water. Truly, it is a cozy space with privacy. My favorite space was the enclosed porch. We had a nice evening drinking a couple of beers on that porch. It's a very quiet neighborhood, so you need to be considerate of the surroundings. I will stay here again if I return one day. Thanks for everything!

Hawaiian Paradise Park is located approximately 30 minute easy drive south of Hilo. It is very quiet and relaxing kind of like living on a country farm only you are next to the ocean. The sound of the waves crashing on shore and tropical birds with put you to sleep every night. A great place to get away from the busy tourist areas.
