    Great museums and shops.

Great museums and shops. A lot of eating places close to the Inn we stayed at, Dragonfly Inn & Suites. Awesome softball complex. Very friendly people. Just a nice clean city. Easy to get around. Hastings, Nebraska is worth a visit! The only negative thing was most eating places close around 8:00 - 8:30. But that's what is now happening in most cities everywhere.

Hastings is a medium sized town in south central Nebraska that has a very good Natural History Museum to visit. There are many restaurants, parks, and shopping places in Hastings. We ate at the El Puerto--a Mexican Restaurant. The food was very good.

Hastings is a historic town with plenty to see, but all we're really interested in, are the ballfields. My Place was 2 minutes driving to the softball fields, 10 minutes walking. At the other end of town, they have a historic baseball field with brick walls, and feels like a minor league baseball stadium. Their downtown area is lined with sculptures, and a nostalgic feel, especially their old historic railroad depot.

I actually grew up in Hastings and was visiting my family. I usually stay with my parents but my sister was already staying with them. This was a great alternative and was pleased with my choice to stay here. I would recommend it or other Hampton Inns to friends and family.

Hastings up and coming, it has many more businesses and restaurants now than it did the last time I was here. Everyone I’ve met is friendly and courteous. Lots of little boutiques with unique items. Many options for lodging. Quality Inn, however, is where I always stay. Excellent customer service, clean and comfortable rooms and conveniently located next to anything you may need. Great price too.

Unfortunately there is a big meth problem here, and if you sit around for even 30 minutes, you will see it. It has some great places to eat, and seems to be for the most part a very family friendly city. After dark, we were here on a Monday night through Wednesday, we saw a lot of the bad.

We were travelling from Canada and had to travel through a very severe winter storm area. We had to change our arrival date twice and still weren't sure if we would make our check-in date. Jenifer the owner/manager was very flexible with whatever date we would arrive on. No penalty or hassles. The breakfast was a continental breakfast and all of the food choices were very fresh and tasty. The eating area was exceptionally clean. Everything looked new. Nicely redecorated room. Will definitely stay again if travelling through Hastings.

The room was very clean and quiet. While we didn’t have breakfast, the display and options looked great. Everything seems to be very expensive these days, but the price for the room was somewhat reasonable. I do like the location of the hotel, and the desk staff were very pleasant.

Unique stay with excellent special touches throughout the property. Ignore the old reviews. Get out of the hotels that all look the same. Dragonfly will make you smile.

Good middle tier hotel. Small town so this type of property is expected and met my needs for a few nights.
