breakfast was very nice. Karen offered to make us eggs and toast. There was a variety of fresh fruits, pastries, yogurts, coffees, etc. Very quaint and super welcoming. We got engaged while staying and they were so happy for us!

Love the set up of this place! It’s like a camp ground but with little lux cottages!! There is even a pool, tennis court which we really enjoyed, shuffle board, basketball, and hammocks throughout the grounds! Short drive to all the hamptons highlights!

The breakfast was good - appreciated the boiled eggs available daily. Coffee was good. Loved the sun decks by the bay! The kayaks, the pool, the beach pass - all great. We enjoyed the games and the variety of places to sit in the sun or shade. The furnishings in the room were fine.

If you are a beach person this is the spot for you. You can walk over the bridge, take your bike, or drive. They have outdoor seating with propane fire pits right on the bay. There were hammocks and a dock to walk out on. The property was well maintained. The shower was the best I have ever had in a hotel room. Bed was soft and pretty comfortable. Rooms were updated and very nice. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. They gave you two beach towels plus the shower towels hand towels and wash clothes.
Just steps from Shinnecock Bay, this Southampton hotel is 2 miles from Cooper’s Beach. Hamelt Inn has a seasonal outdoor heated pool and offers free WiFi.

Denise and the other staff members at the hotel welcomed us in and made sure we were not only comfortable, but catered to our every need!!
We enjoyed our stay so much, we ended up staying about two weeks total over a month period while in the Hamptons for work! They showed us where to go around town, sent clean linens regularly and we loved the little snacks and coffee available in the lobby! We will be back next year!! Thanks for the hospitality!!

Live on Long Island but this was a quick anniversary getaway. Great restaurants, beaches and local shopping. Perfect for fishing, hiking and general relaxing. Feels like New England small town life, but only 50 miles outside of NYC.

It was different, close to NYC, considering Covid challenges, this was a blessing. It had great beaches and restaurants. I am use to vacationing at Grand Ocean in Hilton Head or similar Marriott or Hilton spaces. They are larger, brighter with upscale furnishings and more accommodations.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I live in Hampton Bays but it felt like I was miles away. Quite beautiful and the back porch was perfect for sunning. The staff was very helpful and came over right away because I got confused about the tv remote. So nice and can’t wait to come back when the pool gets warm.
This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The owners made me feel as if I were staying with family. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a private beach area. The continental breakfast had nice options. I highly recommend this place.
Ocean View is a verywell run business! The staff made sure the rooms were clean with easy check-in and easy check out. The location was wonderful right across from Shinnecock Bay. The motel grounds were spotless!
Great location right across from the ocean. Loved to be able to see the bay from our balcony. Bed was unusually comfortable for a hotel. Pool and the overall common areas were very nice.
