Lovely ocean view and I enjoyed staying so close to the marina, where I could observe the boats docked as well as on the water. Plenty of dining options nearby. Quiet, laid back and friendly atmosphere.

We've being going to Princeton Half Moon bay for years but this is the first time we stayed overnight. We go for the restaurants and walking the pier where the fishing boats are docked. You can buy their fresh catch right off the boat, including crabs. There is a fish market there that will clean and cut whatever you buy for a fee. We are a retired couple so this suits us but there are other activities, such as beaches, surfing, boating, hiking and fishing.

The beds are awesome, and my room was at the end of the hall and really quiet. I didn't hear cars despite the balcony being parking lot/street facing (no beach front availability). The beds are the bomb, and the kitchen was also great, coffee, fridge, small stove, all great amenities.
The property doesn't indicate there is no air conditioning in the rooms. My accompanying friends had to move rooms due to the temperatures in their room on the 3rd floor being REALLY HOT.
Two really great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Recommend due to traffic high flow during the weekends. Sam's Chowder House and Miramar Beach Restaurant Patio was AWESOME and the food was fantastic. Our Waitress was the bomb!!

Location of the rental is excellent.
Location of the rental is excellent. Easy to get around HMB. We were fortunate to enjoy the Jazz festival. While on Main Street in HMB, we ate at Johnny's restaurant, a highly recommended breakfast/lunch establishment. We also shopped along the shops on Main Street. We enjoyed the quaint town and the friendliness of people. We can't think of anything negative about our vacation experience.

I liked everything about Half Moon Bay
I liked everything about Half Moon Bay
My stay at Half Moon Bay Lodge was very pleasant and I highly recommend it.
The only downside was my Lunch at the Ritz Carlton
totally mediocre food, a Glass of Wine not even half full, I do NOT recommend it 👎👎.
The Beaches are great, the Golf Course looks good
I did not play.

Half Moon Bay is a small community with loads of weekend visitors. Hence, nutty traffic on the weekends. Restaurant options were a mixed bag - found a great Italian place (Pasta Moon) and a horrible Indian place (India Beach).

We had three nights in this lovely hotel, originally only one was booked but we extended for two more because the hotel was so nice. There is a couple of nice cafe's, bars and restaurants within walking distance and there is a small shopping mall attached to the hotel. One of us had a massage and, without exaggerating, it was the best massage ever experienced! The hotel seems a great size too with not too many rooms so it was never that busy or noisy.
Lovely staff, clean, breakfast provided and a handy location near to Half Moon Bay shops/restaurants which are around 5/10 mins drive down the road. We actually came here very last minute having had a bad experience in a lodge in the Santa Cruz mountains and this was a very welcome change from that! We are just grateful they had space for us!
Quaint beach front house hotel with great restaurant /bar just next door - no noise problem at all. Fire places in the room. Spacious and owner on site. Very sweet and accommodating. A lovely rustic stay
