This was the only property that was available for a last minute booking and understandably why.

We were upgraded to a cabin which was a sweet surprise. Restaurant had good food, it was reasonably priced for being in Yosemite. Free s’mores kits were a really fun touch and the pool was very nice - coldish for my partner but a fine temperature for me. All the staff were so lovely and we had an amazing time - thank you! We hope to go back one day and stay for longer.

This was what we expected - a private room in a youth hostel, not too far from the Park. The location was good and the room was pretty clean. There is a kitchen where you can prepare a meal, and a fun pizza place right next to the hostel.

Jessup's cabin is located within a secure gated community. But we were charged an additional amount for the temporary pass.
This location is close to the Groveland downtown . The downtown has a nice museum and library. Food is good at Pizza Factory.
We enjoyed our stay here.
Plenty of good trails around if you drive 30-40 mins.
Plenty of good trails around if you drive 30-40 mins. On the resort trails are very limited.
Stay away from food at the PML golf club , very poor and overpriced.
We did Carlon falls which takes you into Yosemite and you can swim when you reach the falls — allow 3 hours round trip including a good stop at the falls. Park just past the official car park off road for free !
Sunsets are amazing - I am sure the sunrise is too.

Groveland is a small town just a short drive from Yosemite’s Big Oak Flat entrance. It has restaurants, a few gift shops and a small grocery store with ample supplies. There is a gas station on the edge of town. It was a good place for an overnight stop.

The town is some 25-30 minutes from the Rush Creek resort where we stayed.
We only drove through Groveland, it seemed to have a lovely one block downtown with BBs, restaurants, and a few other stores. On the road to Yosemite from San Francisco through Manteca, Groveland is the most picturesque little town.

I had trouble finding Groveland, was late at night. the owner/manager came and found me! Wonderful service.
Had problems finding the correct roads to Groveland, then to Yosemite. I did finally get it all together and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Unexpectedly charming town with way more facilities then we had imagined. The local saloon is awesome, so is the grocery store. We didn't really have time to explore the other options (as we were there to visit Yosemite) but there were plenty more interesting eating/drinking options around.

I wanted a more plush room.
I wanted a more plush room. This one is adequate but the pillows were too hard and the bedding too thin for winter. Also the bed itself was not plush.
It’s not the fault of Westgate. I tried to book at another more plush hotel but I was told there were no more rooms. Come to find out there were no more rooms at the price Booking.com got to offer. I’m learning.
Lovely staff!
The AC in our room was a bit loud and could not be turned off. Staff immediately came up with us to check if they could turn it off and when that was impossible (it was Sunday and technician couldn't come) we were given another room.
Lovely hotel with a nice atmosphere and great location if visiting Yosemite.
Also has a nice bar and restaurant and even complimentary welcome drinks on first night!
Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Such a gorgeous little gold rush era property. We loved the charm of an old hotel- rooms renovated tastefully to include ensuites. a fantastic location close to Yosemite and with good parking behind the building. Muffins, fruit, tea and coffee available for a quick breakfast.
The room and shared facilities were very clean and cleaned daily. Staff was helpful and friendly and Groveland is a nice little town for an evening. Try the saloon. It is conveniently located to get to Yosemite Valley to beat the crowds.
The diner nearby was nice and handy, since the Lodge has no food facilities.
It was good to have a fridge in the room.
Good location in terms of proximity to Yosemite entrance, but would recommend staying somewhere in Groveland town.
