The exceptional experience began immediately! We were greeted at the desk with warmth and acknowledged as repeat visitors. All of our requests regarding room location, extra towels and pillows were acknowledged and provided. The rooms are so gorgeous and clean. This notel has beautifully stocked galley kitchens on each floor with water, cookies in the evening, croissant in the am and little nibble to be found all day. The location is perfect and the staff goes out of their way anytime you need them!

The location was great and central to main intersection. The hotel was separated into different suites on either side of the streets and the hotel reception was at the corner. The property has plenty of liveliness so no need to go far for a good time. The staff was prepared with all our details making check-in seamless. The rooms were spacious and had all that we needed. Most important, the suite we were in was clean and dog-friendly. Thank you.

    Greenport is very pretty.

Greenport is very pretty. Plenty of bars and restaurants and interesting shops to browse. We enjoyed dinner on the dock at Claudio's, an ice cream at Amazing Flavors and breakfast at Crazy Beans. Greenport is close to many vineyards, we visited Kontokosta, no need to book and great views of the LI sound. We were in Greenport just one night (family of 4, kids 12 and 14 travelling from the UK) before taking the ferry (cash only) via the beautiful Shelter Island to Sag Harbour which I'd recommend. I'd have liked to stay another night or two and if I make it there again explore the Sound side more, and visit the brewery. A great road trip to tag on to a trip to NYC (or jump on the LIRR).

Small town with easy access to the North Ferry to reach Shelter Island, other ferries too but ferries to Plum Island unfortunately were closed for the season. Coast line and parks/reserves beautiful and empty of people so excellent for me. Vineyards worth visiting although I think they have a little bit to go to match what's on offer in better known wine making regions of the world. Disappointing not to be able to sample more of the local seafood and what I had wasn't as good as home (I live in a seaside town) but maybe that was because most places were closed for the season.

Beautiful little town, with a nice small shopping and dining area. Several winemakers are located nearby for visits, tastings and to spend time with nice views. Ferry to Shelter Island is quick and the island is very pretty, with nice beaches.

    It was quite lovely!!!

It was quite lovely!!! I am quite interested in learning and seeing the historic villages! However I am not a fan of rocky beaches. The shopping was nice! The surrounding area was very dilapidated and made one feel unsafe.

It is a nice town with a a lot of architecture from the 1800’s. Most things are within walking distance. The food was good but somewhat expensive. There is a nice area run by the Audubon Society just outside of town.

This would be amazing in the summer.

This would be amazing in the summer. We were off season so it was perfect to relax and unwind. This is in the center of Greenport with shops and places to eat. Short rides to the beach and nearing towns. The shelter island ferry is right there for more adventures.

The moment you arrive to the hotel you are transported to a movie scene - the location is beautiful, just by the water, and the renovation was very well done. This is not your average motel by the side of the road - the rooms are comfortable and warm and have direct access to the beach.
