General Morgan Inn, hotel in Greeneville

General Morgan Inn has a restaurant, fitness center, a bar and shared lounge in Greeneville.

The breakfast was a $7 coupon to the coffee shop on premises. Coffee was excellent but the morning we used it there the cupboard was bare - not many pastries or other options. Room comfy, Staff great! Also enjoyed the free shuttle from the hotel to the performing arts center. Friendly driver and such a convenience when you are from out of town to be driven to and from the shows.

Nolichuckey Bluffs Bed & Breakfast Cabins, hotel in Greeneville

Offering garden views, Nolichuckey Bluffs Bed & Breakfast Cabins in Greeneville provides accommodations, a garden, and barbecue facilities. With mountain views, this accommodation features a balcony.

It was secluded. It was very beautiful. The location was perfect for our purpose: my nephew's wedding. Rehearsal dinner was in town. The wedding was at another venue (they do have a lovely location here, tho, with a beautiful mountain view). They left home made yummie cookies and muffins; also in the frig some yogurt, homemade granola and homemade egg muffin. They provided delicious coffee, too.

There are not enough traffic lights.

There are not enough traffic lights. Most side streets require you to pull out into the median to go left. This was difficult because traffic was always high. Local people were very conservative and rural...lots of Trump flags and very restrictive alcohol rules for the Renaissance Festival we were attending.

Greenville was very nice and clean.

Greenville was very nice and clean. Visit was for a convention. Great highway signs and easy to drive around. Outstanding selections for food and so many to choose from. Did not see oil change place or U.S. Bank. Great for Wal-Mart for items I forgot to pack. Dunkin Donuts is a ++. Very surprised not to see roadside stands with pumpkins, corn stalks and apples with the leaves changing. Great fall foliage colors. As a non-resident, Greenville was a very nice place to visit. I will visit again.

I was born in Greeneville and travel to Tennessee at least three times a year to visit my elderly father, uncle and aunt, and grandson. It would be nice if I could receive a hometown discount as I am almost 70 and on a fixed income.

The tour of Andrew Johnson's home was very interesting.

The tour of Andrew Johnson's home was very interesting. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave an informative, balanced summary of Andrew Johnson's political and personal life, particularly where it related to his Greeneville residence. We had a delicious, reasonably priced lunch at a local sandwich shop (Traveller's ?) The Andrew Johnson NHS visitor's center was also worth spending time. Overall, Greeneville was worth a half day or even a full day visit for anyone interested in US history.

Greenville has a lot to offer....history buffs will enjoy the sites pertaining to Andrew Johnson. Beautiful older homes and buildings downtown. There are a couple of great food places to enjoy downtown. Great choice of shops..thrift stores, antique shops & a mall that offers Marshall's ,Ross, Burke's & Belk. Variety of grocery stores and a Walmart also. I am sure there is much more but there is only so much time in the day......we enjoyed the city very much.

Plenty of food places around, great location to WalMart and Lowe's. Dunkin Donuts was a blessing. Great T-V reception and programming. I could tell that management has tried to upgrade an older hotel to make a living. The place was probably beautiful back in the 50's and 60's. When I went in it was as if I stepped back in time. Very nice lady at check in and check out.

The lobby looks amazing. Restaurant is good with a real Old Southern vibe, and bar has a good atmosphere and great bartender which is just as well because it's the only bar in town. Staff in hotel, restaurant and bar were lovely, parking good, room was clean. Breakfast voucher to spend in attached coffeeshop, good breakfast bagel.

Breakfast was fine because it was at a small cafe attached to the hotel. The hotel provided $7 vouchers that could be used. The little cafe had a good selection of breakfast food. BUT they aren’t open on Sunday and there is virtually nothing else near the hotel.

I paid extra for breakfast and there was no breakfast. I requested a refund and didn’t get a response. Plus breakfast is advertised for free on their marquee. So why would book.com charge me extra? Book.com should refund my money. Not the hotel.

The hotel is amazing and fun. Dinner and drinks were awesome. I wish the bed would have been either queen or king. I would have preferred to sleep with my spouse in the sMe bed!
