The property was secluded. It was off by itself. Nice and quiet. The shower was huge! That was my favorite part. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast area was nice and well attended. Front desk staff was nice. Enjoyed the indoor pool and was our reason for booking this hotel.
Great location if you're going fishing it was nice to have...
Great location if you're going fishing it was nice to have the pool open for the first time in the 5 years that we've been going there every summer even though it was only open for one day out of the four we stayed there due to maintenance. The room could have been cleaner everything was covered in dust I felt like I was sleeping in a dirty bed it didn't smell good the bathroom door was broken and didn't shut all the way we had stained rags and only two towels even though we had four people staying. The continental breakfast was only offered with dry cereal and waffles and one of the days there was no milk for the cereal. We stay here 2 to 3 times a year for fishing trips which is nice because it's right across the street from the bait shop right down the road from the dam and a Love's truck Stop which is convenient. We will be staying here again, you get what you pay for. It's not the greatest but it had a shower and a bed to sleep in even though the bed sheets were stained and had cigarette Burns in them.

It is close to everything.
It is close to everything. There is alot of family things to do there. There are putt putt golf courses there, go carts, zip lining, a little zoo that you ride a golf cart thru and it is awesome. There are game rooms and arcades, kids Playland, antique mall, the dam for fishing, a beach area for swimming. Fun place. We loved the 50's Cafe. Great food at a reasonable price.

The area is beautiful! Just don't stay at the park/resort.
The area is beautiful! Just don't stay at the park/resort. We were invited to check out the Dam Hotel and it's gorgeous. We will stay there next time. We had a great meal at Poppi's on Friday night. Food was awesome and so was service. We got a Pizza from Rockets on Saturday and the people there were great. Other than our stay at the park, we really enjoyed the area.
