Breakfast was sort of run of the mill.
Many items were not available and this was a summer weekend so they should have had better stockpile for the number of people using the facility. Don't advertise something you're going to run out of and not care that people are not getting what they paided for.

Such a cute property! Checking in was easy and the evening manager helped us get our bags to our room and show us where everything was. They even delivered a local paper in the morning. I felt like I was staying in a small town inn for sure.

I came with my husband and a friend to go to a nearby meeting. There was no time to explore Gettysburg. Most of the time we ate at the nearby restaurant. The food was very good there and the staff were very nice.

For the history buff -- whether casual or intense -- Gettysburg is a must-see destination. The battlefield is the main attraction is so very perfectly preserved. All ow yourself at least two days for touring. But after houirs, the downtown area has something for everyone -- from fine to casual dining. Many interesting shops -- not just related to the battle or the Civil War. A destination I highly recommend.

Every year we come here for the old time baseball tournament as my son plays in it. We find something new to explore every year. LOVE the updates to little round top! Amazing we can walk to all the monuments in that area now. Explored new museums this year and walked down to get ice cream every night!!!!! Love the new museum, Beyond the Battles, I think it was called. Every where we eat is awesome. Love to eat at Mason Dixon Distillery, Gettysburg Eddie's, Appalachian Brewing ,Sweney's Tavern is a favorite of ours, La Bella Italia-just discovered this year, Hunt's Battlefield Fries, and I am sure I am missing some great places to eat! We have stayed at Best Western, Quality Inn Battlefield, 1863 Hotel and I newest place was Inn at Cementary Hill- all very great places to stay! Loved location of Inn at Cementary Hill!!!! Great museums all around town and battlefields great to explore.

We went to see the battle field and to do some of the tours, which we enjoyed very much, every one of the tour guides was very friendly and answered all of the questions asked!
If you are into the history of the civil war you really need to do the tour of the battle field whether it be the self guided or with a tour guide also the show inside the diorama is a must!
The young man on reception was great. Friendly immaculate and helpful. He was the reason we booked another night. Other staff we met were also very pleasant. We had been doing a road trip around America and the staff here were the best we had met. But that young man, what an asset to the company.
Hotel was in a good location.
The room was large with a mini bar. We didn't use it but it was a great room. There was a great desk area to use our laptop to check our emails and signing in to the internet was easy. Also the breakfast was the best we have ever had. We have stay at a lot of Hampton Inns but this breakfast was truly the best one.
Breakfast included was typical, but we liked the waffle machine to make your own fresh waffles. Location was good in Gettysburg, and right next door is à great food court restaurant which offers all sorts of good food options
Nice big comfortable rooms. Warm friendly staff. Hotel is a five min walk to a lovely outlet mall. Ample parking space. Gettysburg's town centre and historic sites are just a 5 min drive away.
