The room was immaculate. The temperature was comfortable. The staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. The food was very well prepared. The fresh fruit was a delight. Very surprised as this location was very busy but the staff was so accommodating that you were not aware just how busy it was.

Gaithersburg was okay there was police in and out of the hotel every night there's a 7-Eleven which you can get food you know if you needed it and walking distance but the staff was not friendly and did not try to accommodate me or help with anything most of the time not one time today person come to my door and ask if I needed anything are the maid service in my room and I found. Not to mention my mother had to get stuck in the elevator and not to mention the police being at my dorm and the woman the staff member downstairs accusing me of something I didn't do and told me I had to vacate by the next day and my mother was there and that's the only place I had to go my mother just had a massive heart attack and she's trying to recover and that almost gave her another one.

It is a pretty town and very quite.
It is a pretty town and very quite. We spent much of our time in Washington DC which was 30-45 minutes away, depending on traffic. There was always traffic. We looked forward to our hotel which was quiet and away from the main city. We were grateful the hotel had parking because we had to pay a parking garage every day that were in Washington DC. We mostly eat at different places in Washington DC. We also visited the Wharf where people can ice skate and eat different types of food such as Asian, Italian, Greek etc. at different restaurants. We visited City Mall where we ate the best gelato and had great coffee.

Gaithersburg is too crowded for me.
Gaithersburg is too crowded for me. I had problems finding places and they drive too fast and aggressively here for my liking probably since I am older. Somebody younger probably wouldn't mind. I'm in my late sixties and used to a slower lifestyle, but others might like it.

Liked the fact that it was close to the airport and close to the local mall as well as the Montgomery mall. Not sure of local transportation so relied on car rental. But I liked the quietness of the neighborhood and the fact that the hotel is less than 10minutes walk from shopping center.

Only there for a nearby sporting event.
Only there for a nearby sporting event. This was an excellent location. A bit overpriced because of a holiday weekend and I guess hotels are aware that demand is high because of the event at the Maryland Soccerplex. Day after the rate was about half of what we paid.
Location at Rio Washingtonian Center is nice. There is a small lake just in front of the hotel. But also close to highway to Washington DC. A Metro station is not far away but not in walking distance!
Lots of Restaurants nearby; also some shops like Target, a bookstore with Starbucks in it, a big sports shop (Kiehls).
Free parking provided in the garage next to the hotel.
We had 2 rooms and got rooms with connecting door, what was really pracitcal.
Staff were outstanding! This review can not do justice to the friendly staff at this location. You can overlook almost anything about the hotel with a friendly staff and conversely you cannot overcome a rude staff. I realized I will stay at a 3 star vice 4 star hotel simply because of the helpfulness and courteous people who work there regardless of anything else.
This is hotel is clean, quiet, and serviceable and has good breakfast included. Good gym as well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall good value for the money.
