The room was very small but comfortable for two people. The whole room was very modern and in great shape. The bed was comfortable and we could control the heating so we weren't cold. The window opened slightly too which was great when we wanted a little city air! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok. I appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower cubicle.

Staff was friendly and very helpful when it came to advice on where to visit around the area. I can’t remember his name but he helped me a lot when I checked in, then I met Aliyah she was amazing she made me feel very comfortable here, very happy to go above and beyond for me. She helped me book my first basketball game and to book my boat tour. The room was cosy for one person, however I have stayed in many hotels and not having a kettle and tea bags in the room was the only downside for me. Especially as it was so cold in New York I hated the fact I had to leave the hotel just to get something warm to drink. Also the breakfast cafe you use next door does not do hot food, for someone that’s British and loves an English breakfast or American I would suggest getting a contract with The bread factory across the road from the hotel it’s amazing there. Overall I felt safe and welcomed at the Moxy and I would definitely stay here again.
