Nice town and walk around the fountain - seemed like a popular meeting place. Some nice restaurants and close enough to Scottsdale and Phoenix for others. I would not recommend it in January - highs some days in high 40s and some in the low 70s. The locals say S Arizona best in the "shoulder" months.

We loved visiting fountain hills.
We loved visiting fountain hills. The scenery is just gorgeous; perfect for a romantic picnic or to breakaway from busy life for a day of disc golf or reflexion. We caught an art festival while walking around the park and watched a football game at a local sports bar. Would love to go back next time I visit Phoenix.

Close to McDowell Mt Regional Park.
Close to McDowell Mt Regional Park. Great place to stay after Javelina Jundred. Only wish it had a tub but everything was top notch at a good price. Beautifully remodeled. Coffee and light breakfast offerings. Pool and jacuzzi. - Fountain Hills is pretty quiet. Call ahead to make sure restaurants are still open.

Watching the Fountain, especially at night, was very nice and calming. the entire park area was beautiful. The resaurants in the immediate area were very good. we did our own walking food tour and did Italian, Greek, Japanese, and Sports Grille. there were many more resaurants there that we were not able to visit.

Beautiful little, upscale community.
Beautiful little, upscale community. Beautiful homes, beautiful landscaping. The park in the center of town with the large water fountain is a highlight not to be missed upon a trip out to Fountain Hills. Nice restaurants to appease your appetite for good food and drinks. Hiking trails in and around the area can be found too.

We mostly frequented Scottsdale and Mesa due to friends/family there...but discovered great eating places and also the park with the fountain that goes off every hour on the hour, worth walking around the park to see. Hotel is easy to find and there's plenty of amenities around the hotel such as bank, Target, Frys, etc.

Great value for the entertainment available at the resort and nearby Fountain Hills. The food available in the resort was great and reasonably priced. We did not try room service. Lovely pool/Jacuzzi area and views. Amethyst Spa was wonderful and the staff there was very friendly and pleasant. Good tv channels available in the room. Got to take advantage of several promotions at the casino for food/drinks & play. Good checkout experience. Overall, a fun and relaxing time.
The location by the river was stunning. There is so much to do there - pool, games, swimming, axe throwing, badminton and much more. The breakfast was the best of all the 6 places we stayed in Arizona. The staff were super friendly.
We stayed 2 nights and didn't want to leave. Awesome quiet ranch with amazing nature surroundings. Personnel is the best. Nice pool area, kayaking and tubing available. Good breakfast.
