After our day of travel, this was our landing spot! So glad we picked this place. Found everything we needed and more right near the hotel. The breakfast in the morning couldn’t be beat! The staff was wonderful, the view of the river & bridge was amazing! Highly recommend.

Park Motel and Cabins, hotel in Florence

Just 6 minutes’ drive from the nearest beach in Florence, Oregon, this motel features rooms with free WiFi access and cable TV channels.

We loved that it's family owned and ran! Super friendly people. We plan to have another stay here, but we want to stay in one of the cabins instead of the motel portion of the property. Our motel room was cute/quaint, the bed was comfortable and our stay was quiet. It was a stormy weekend so we didn't have any neighbors on either side of our room. I liked the added touch of ear plugs they provided next to the bed, if needed. :) Overall, my boyfriend and I were very pleased with our stay. The only small issue was the shower knob

Driftwood Shores Resort, hotel in Florence

Set on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, this Florence hotel is 10.2 miles from Sea Lion Caves. It features an indoor pool, hot tub and an accommodations with a private balcony.

My parents are 91&88, we were able to park in a handicap ok’ing spot closes to elevator. Rm was on 2nd floor just of elevator. Made this very easy for me to get them to rm. We loved rm227 , view and all of kitchen extras. Price for the night was affordable for us to try and come once a month during winter and lower prices to get all 3 of us out of house.

    We enjoyed visiting Florence!

We enjoyed visiting Florence! It’s a pretty small coastal town, but everyone was kind and welcoming. After we got the lay of the land we visited restaurants in town and had some great meals… Hukilau was on our last day but it was our favorite! Roasters was great for coffee with a beautiful view. And we ate at Restobar twice since we liked the food so much. I enjoy shopping, but there wasn’t much aside from the large department store and a handful of tourist stores in downtown.

The PNW is lovely, and the best part is you can visit it and not go to Florence! Avoid Florence if you don't want to overpay for terrible accommodations. For the price you pay to stay in a fleabag motel in Florence you can stay in a wonderful, clean, resort in Newport or Lincoln City.

Love the old part of town with all of the shopping.

Love the old part of town with all of the shopping. We went to the casino which was about 10 minutes away, but it was way too smokey so we didn't gamble, and left. :-( Beautiful day in Florence. SUnny and hot!

Florence is a great little town , better than what most think. Lincoln city and Newport are the bigger ones most go to but Florence has cute little restaurants, down town shops are adorable closer to the docks and beaches are not crowded. Driving distance from a lot and affordable accommodations at hotels or vacation rentals. Great scenic drive from Eugene area. Lots of camping spots and hikes close by. Fred Meyer grocery , ice cream, breakfast(Brown Hen Cafe was out favorite ) , coffee spots by the main road through town. Down town has weekend markets , unique restaurants ( we tried the Waterfront Depot =great food *reserve an a spot early) and shops ( one even had a Harry Potter wand shop section with tons to select from in little boxes like in the movies) .

Came to look at houses in various towns!!

Came to look at houses in various towns!! Sea Lion Cave was interesting. The Pancake Mill is a great place to get breakfast. Of course it was raining a lot so it was not the time to go shopping and looking at other places...but we will be back when the weather is better!!

The Waterfront Depot restaurant shouldn't be missed but get a reservation. The food and service are top notch. Traveler's Cove has really good Mexican food. The ambience is fair but there is a nice view. Great service. The Restobar restaurant should be avoided. The food is terrible, and the ambience is ok if you like batting flies away from your food. The service is below average.

The situation of this hotel was fantastic. Right on the shore and facing west . Every room can watch the sunset which when we were there simply beautiful. Although quite a large facility there is miles of wonderful sandy beach and dunes to explore. The rooms are well appointed and have balconies and chairs to sit and watch the scenery. It was a thing memories are made of.

Hotel beautifully located at the river with great view from cantine's windows. Clean rooms - with everything needed for one night stay. Breakfast with richer selection of food than expected - waffles and omlettes. Swimming pool not very big but enough to enjoy a bit of swimming.

The motel is a short walk to old town Florence. It has no air conditioning but that was not a problem for us. The room was very quiet and we slept well.
