The room was clean and had the amenities to make our stay pleasant. The mini bottles of lotion, shampoo & conditioner were a nice touch. This also includes the little soaps. The breakfast had a good selection to get the day started. I would definitely recommend staying at the Windgate.

Fargo is well worth a visit.
Fargo is well worth a visit. There are fun and interesting attractions like Bonanzaville and the Zoo. Bonanzaville is a large collection of historical buildings and small museums in one area.
Fargo hosts various festivals, fairs and attracts many concerts.
Fargo has a very good restaurant scene. There are many chain restaurants plus many individually owned places. Some of the locally owned places have been featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. Blackbird Woodfired Pizza and Nichole’s Fine Pastry are two of the places DDD profiled that I went to. They live up to the hype.

The reception at the check out is rude. She needs to lighten up and be trained for customer service. Not a very good representative of la Quinta.

We enjoyed a delicious and filling meal at Sickies Garage Diner near our motel. Thankfully, staff retrieved and placed in their safe the motel keys that slipped from my pocket while dining, allowing me to retrieve them with a quick return trip.

Please do your homework in the hotels you select.
Please do your homework in the hotels you select. I selected the super eight by Wyndham. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my whole life. It was just nasty smell of mold right when you walk in the door when I got to my room there was blood on the carpet holes in the bathroom wall. The shower wall was falling apart the fridge had a nasty odor there was a bar in my window to keep it closed so no one could break in because of lock and work on it and I was on the first floor. They advertised a really nice looking pool in their pictures but the pool was drained. It look like a storage closet and reading comments on this hotel the pool has been out of commission for a long time, but they still advertise it as being up and running. The staff is Indian and I had a hard time communicating with them because of their broken English. Once you check into your room, you don’t see them anymore it’s like they went home. They leave a number for you to call if you need them, and when I called it like four times, no one would answer, I can’t believe the health department hasn’t shut this place down there’s literally mold, growing inside the light fixture in my bathroom, and I kept on waking up all night scratch and thinking they were bedbugs on me. Do not go here. This place should be put out of business. Thanks, Michael Kay from Chicago.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Fargo
This is the only hotel we stay at in Fargo. The staff are incredible! The free happy hour and lovely snacks are amazing. The beds are the most comfortable and the rooms are sparkling clean! We were upgraded to an incredible room with a stone gas fireplace, a kitchenette, dining table and chairs and two very comfortable chairs. The hot breakfast with scrambled eggs and either sausage or ham plus a variety of continental options. Don't stay anywhere else!!
I liked the Location of hotel. And the easy access to parking spots .. and I liked that I got a room on the first floor which was easier for me to walk to due to my health situations and the room was decent size.
