Always super busy in downtown. And the downtown is really just shop after shop selling the same stuff. If you’re someone who wants to pay a high price tag for art, then there’s plenty to look at. Not very many unique shops, they all tend to blend together. Other than shops there isn’t much else to do unless you’re willing to pay for a high priced ticket to do something.
Onyx cave is neat but doesn’t take hardly any time to walk through the whole cave.

It's a charming town with PLENTY of places to stay.
It's a charming town with PLENTY of places to stay. The variety and number of restaurants in Eureka Springs is dismal when you consider the sheer volume of people who visit Eureka Springs every day! There are over 700 places you can stay in Eureka Springs but there are only 66 places to eat. Everything is a bit "pricey" in Eureka Springs. And since there are only two main traffic arteries in town...it can be daunting trying to pull out of your hotel or from a restaurant during peak traffic hours. I've been to Eureka Springs 3 times for motorcycle gatherings. There's always some sort of event being hosted in town and therefore the town is always full of people and jumping. It may bode well with most people but I'm a senior and would prefer staying in a more serene town.

I liked walking around the town.
I liked walking around the town. I liked taking the trolley to different locations. I liked taking the historic tour by the tram. We ate at Mud cafe and the Cat House which were both very good. After eating breakfast at the B and B we didn’t need too much more food. Lovely town and wonderful stay.

There were many different things to see and do. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It is pleasant to see that small historical towns can and do stay the same. We enjoyed the Statue of Christ, the Thorncrown Chapel, Crescent Hotel, and Irish Pub McGarity's.

lots to see. the narrated tram tour was excellent and informative. we would never have seen all the historic buildings or points of interest that were hidden away from the two main streets in town. lots of choices for eating. Tram tour lasted 1.55 hrs and was very reasonable.
getting around town was somewhat confusing but the hotel had a great magazine about ES that provided a map of the city which was very helpful. We ate at McGarity's - excellent meal in a very unique atmosphere.
