    Housekeeping was the best.

Housekeeping was the best. Always accommodating even when we were not up and out of the room. They made sure we had what we needed and the days were out of the room the beds were made and bathroom was cleaned.

This hotel was super clean and the staff so friendly its puts all other places to shame. The vent fans in the bathroom actually worked, and for being a hotel where pets are welcome it was amazingly clean and smelled great. The common areas were tiled so cleaning was easy for the staff. Some rooms have jetted tubs so ask for a room with one. The breakfast was great with eggs, sausage , biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt and fruits. Will stay here every time in the area.

Loved the original downtown square: JR Neighbors for dining, The Vibe Coffee Shop for Breakfast & FlyWheel Brewery which was just a few blocks off the square. But Back Home Restaurant ( on Dixie at Miles) has wonderful KY favorites in E’Town. On the 2cd floor above it is a very nice women's boutique. Freeman’s Lake & surrounding trail system is quite an asset.

For us, our time in Elizabethtown was strictly an overnight stop: get there for a nights' rest, get up in the morning and resume travel to our ultimate destination. This hotel served that purpose perfectly.

I grew up in Elizabethtown and always enjoy coming home.

I grew up in Elizabethtown and always enjoy coming home. Each time the city has had tremendous growth and is quite busy. It is not difficult to get around there. There are many name brand restaurants as well as privately owned bistros and cafes. A speakeasy will be opening soon downtown in the heart of the city. The old courthouse is in the middle of town and you circle around it with exits off all four sides. A cannonball from the Civil War is embedded in the brick wall of one of the buildings on the square. There is so much history in the area all around E'Town. Visit Jim Beam for a great tour of how their whiskey is made. Short drive to historic Bardstown. We spent most of our time with family who live there this trip. Only a 2 hour drive to Nashville down 65.

The location is very convenient to I-65, and there are several restaurants close-by. There aren't any retail shops right there, but pretty much anything you can ask for is just a few minutes away.

Pre-booked rate was good. Hotel was easy to find, easy off and on the highway. Staff was very pleasant. Indoor pool was well done, pleasant to look at but noisy to face. Excellent breakfast. Right beside a Cracker Barrel numerous other eating places nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Very basic, pool was out of action and I paid extra to stay in a hotel with a pool so felt cheated at the relatively high price compared to other hotel stays (often double the price of others)
